i really like the foo fighters, without saying they have copied something, but i think some parts of this song sound like Queens Of the Stone Age - In My Head.. dont you think so?

I'm not a Foo Fighters fan, but I must say this record is AMAZING! Every song is amazing. The price of the album is worth every penny! Not many bands record with tape anymore. Does it matter? YES! There's nothing like the sound of tape on rock music especially. And tape costs significantly more than hard disk recording. I would say that Wasting Light is far better than their Grammy-winning album, Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace.

Just look up "Wasted Light Mediafire" on Google if you want a live version of the album from The Roxy show, the studio mix hasn't leaked yet though.

im a huge Foo fan... I have to say after One by One i lost a little faith. In your honor and echoes were really nothing special...But all the songs ive heard from Wasting Light just blew my balls off

@Joee1257 Alas, I disagree, my friend. In Your Honor had some awesome vocals on Dave's part and the title track is one of the best drumming performances Taylor's ever given. And Echoes featured some nice jamming riffs, Dave's incredible vocal versatility showing in the song 'Let It Die' and a cool guitar solo in 'Ballad of the Beaconsfield Miners' and 'Long Road to Ruin'.

@MightyStreetFighter Echoes Silence Patience and Grace is the only one that stands out above the rest to me. The rest is all so amazing that its impossible for me to pick a favorite without feeling like im being an ingorant fooll who just goes by the radio hits. but Echoes is just so amazing. Wasting Light is shaping up to possibly be the best though. Rope is pure awesomeness, white limo sounds good, and the high quality teaser of Bridge Burning
