A lot of people are still sleep.I try to wake people up but they refuse to wipe the sleep out of their eyes and look around at the filth that surrounds us.
I agree with you that the powers that be have overstepped their power and will be brought low by an enraged public just sick and tired of being talked to like children while being punked like a teen age jailbird.
Zeal.. you got it, but you're in the wrong camp. The true occupy is yet to come (the other camp). Occupying downtown LA and street corners and at colleges is like trying to wipe your ass with the edges of the toilet paper. You all totally missed the point. Who the hell are you fighting? You see fucktards... the problem lies in with the corruption in Capitol Hill. How and why are these companies getting away with what they're doing? Most of it legally. Take the fight to the Hill.
Brilliant work -- we've posted a couple of your videos, including this one, and they are getting a great response. Yours is a much needed dose of harsh truth. You have a real gift.
I agree, you're best one yet. I'm sharing and then I'm going to see each of my friends with some tape and some handcuffs and I'm going to MAKE them watch it.
What? That's infringing on their rights of freedom you say? *hangs head* Well dammit!
You should make a MoC about the U.S. education. The people in my high school last year all thought that the queen of England was Kate (Yes, the one that married Prince William).
oh, and I have a dog, some of us are dog people. Well I like cats also, come to think of it I also like fish, turtles, canaries, finches, bunny rabbits. hell I even had three orphaned baby squirrels once that I released back into the wild once they grew-up and that kinda hurt cause I was little but it was the right thing to do. Sometimes doing the right thing hurts a little, something to think about...
I am sure if we arrest enough of you retards for the crimes you commit people will see just how ludicrous and plausible objective lacking this movement is why don't you spare us and just commemorate into history your "mental awakening" with a tribute to Darwins theory of survival of the fittest by killing yourself before you can reproduce.
@2superstobie You try too hard, next time make a good point rather than just repeating a pointless rant that shows nothing but an angry old man who was raped by his walking stick as he sued it for sexual harassment. Next time, know how to place words well as well as some english to know what you are actually saying makes you sound like an obsolete though, and another thing, intelligence and/or ideas are not inherited through birth.
@TuWear I never claimed intelligence and/or ideas are not inherited through birth. I am simply stated there are people with characteristics making them more probable to survive/ contribute something to the gene pools. do not put words into my mouth. as for the movement prove to me it is not objective lacking have they done anything other than sit down in one place for 2 months ranting and begging for money, that sounds more like a mass of homeless people then a mental awakening.
@2superstobie Claiming and implying are two different yet similar things, because you are only talking of their actions which is intelligence of what you say is of what could be passed down.
You do not know the movement at all if you think it is about protestors just wanting money, if that was the case; then the protest wouldn't last as long as it does now. Your ignorant thought makes you and Fox viewers more ignorant than those who don't know the news. The movement is for change in government.
@TuWear I am talking about them not being the fittest so i would like them to kill themselves rather than contribute bad genes to a gene pool you moron. never once did i bring the word intelligence into the conversation which btw thanks for demonstrating your obvious lack of. tell me what has OWS accomplished HOW have they started achieving there goals? right now I see a group with remarkable similarities to a homeless camp people complaining occupying land they do not own begging for money.
also if the movement is for change in goverment why not call it occupy D.C and have every one camped outside? if this movement is about change in goverment why not try to pass laws or elect people who best represent the interest of this OWS movement rather than again sit on a corner complaining begging for money or as they call it "SUPPORT". sorry I don't waste my time with movements that are a waste of time.
@2superstobie with all due respect I don't think it's a waste of time but I get what you're saying. I think it is going to take some more organization with some leaders like this dude. It will take time to gain momentum and I'm not sure if you waste your time watching the news but it is all over the stations. My feeling is it started on Wall St because of the in your face corruption that ran a muck with only a few going to jail. Hoping will spread to DC, where we can can chant TERM LIMITS!
@bakontrk if it went to D.C i do not think this would be a waste of time, but all i see is this movement slowly getting hijacked and ran into the ground. if it went to d.c they would have my support but until they start protesting in the right place i do not see any positive outcomes from this group.
@tadpole256 First of all, you wanna say a clever line? Come up with one of your own. That stupid "occupy a job" line is so old it could buy alcohol. Secondly, I have a job, and I fucking love it. You, sir, need to stop occupying Stockholm syndrome. It's okay. I realize you've been abused by your corporate masters and now you're afraid to stand up against them. But we're here for you whenever you find the courage.
@leecamp I found nothing courageous about sitting in a spot panhandling for money on months on end to end capitalism. stop making your selves out to be soldiers fighting a war, you a the equivalent of a homeless person deranged and ranting as he begs for change. forgive me for not embracing a self raping self pillaging waste of time excuse of a movement, that is incapable and afraid to enact actual change on society. if there ever was a poser protest, this is it.
@2superstobie Neither do I because that isn't happening, next time actually go to the protest rather than watching your inaccurate shit known as Fox News. The only things we want to change isn't capitalism because we are not living in a capitalistic country anymore but a Corporatistic country instead, because corporations have more power than government (another version of Fascism). The movement isn't self-rapping, but more of a rape carrier to the fucked who fuck. Try to be smart, not sound it
@TuWear While I agree with most of what you say, corporatism and capitalism is one and the same. All businesses depend on profit, and thus control of the sources of profit, that extends to governments since there's no barrier between the state and the markets. Control over governments that tax you counts as much as control over the product/service you sell.
@InContemplation They are similar and Capitalism was made because they expected government was going to have too much power, what they didn't expect was the power corporations are going to gain power and take over government and only make things for profit rather than for people. Government needs more power over the corporations, and control their profits so even bribing wouldn't be an issue like now.
@TuWear I am smart I know where actually change takes place in this country, how to enact change, not just bitch about, you want to change they way things are, that's where LAW comes in. Rather than try to enact change you occupy property bitch about your problems. I know plenty about the movement and how all it is is a waste of time and money. tell me what happened at a protest that i am unaware of? please enlighten me, whats separates OWS from ranting homeless people?
Hey camp don't base on cat owners , this union thug owns two cats. Now what ? I'll crush a corrupt corporate exect and then come home and show love to my cats .
@OldSchoolSkillI saw that same report, but what they failed to leave out of the broadcast was the aerial view of the massive crowd. the streets were filled to capacity, and there were only a hundred or so protestors im calling bullshit on that report!!!!!
Here in Des Moines Iowa Newt Gingrich told all the occupy protestors " To take a Shower and get a Job" Get a Job, I have a job, others dont because our jobs have been sold out to other countries. My girlfriend works for HELLS FARGO and her department is being outsourced to India. So what do we do when we cant afford our mortgage because her job is gone? Get A Job, How about Newt go get a hand gun and give himself a frontal lobotomy.

@LeeCamp2 Damn, I didn't even know you had those things goin on. Haha! I'm just really surprised I never heard about it through anyone else. What was your impression of things here in Chicago?
Kidding, Keep rolling on strong Lee. You cannot stop the tidal wave. Change is happening. This is sending shockwaves through the power-centers of America. They know they are a police-action away from full-on riots.
Most of the cops have their livelihood on the line, so they cooperate with the suppression. When the problem hit the police force, they will join. But sadly, by the time that happens, it is waaaay to late.
Metal barricades surrounding "Liberty" Plaza, in the shadow of "Freedom" Tower. The iron-y would be lost on right-wingers who pompously wear tri-corner hats and sidearms to political events.
U know my friend watches all right wing shit news and journalism, he actually thinks that literally all these people at the protests are communist and Socialist, its fuken unbelievable the shit people believe from their news sources.
do they think that when they pepper spray and 80 yearold protester she'll go home and think to herself "oh i guess i'm wrong. government is fine and not corrupt and the pepperspray showed me that" no. she goes home thinks FUCK
@kaasvaag I know. I miss it too. Unfortunately the beat did not belong to the artist, so we decided it was best to stop using it. I'll switch it up again soon.
Ok, possibly a stupid question but I really don't know... Can you sweep mercury with a broom? It just sounded odd to me... Anyway the whole idea of attacking protesters is ridiculous. People protest because they are mad at something. Will macing them make them less mad? Hell no, it's going to piss them off even more, strengthening their resolve, and likely adding more people that weren't mad enough to bother protesting until you decided to mace someone for no reason. Thanks for the help, lol.
@OldSchoolSkill All they do with their blatantly false reporting is show people who don't already get it that the media is lying to them. And the NYPD estimate, which is always low, for the march on Wall Street was over 32,000. So 40 or 50k is about right.
Too bad you're such a youngster. I think I'm in love. (Just kidding, no stalker, I). Shared again and I will continue to share your voice. Far and wide. Thank you.
There is a section in the Constitution that says that people can overthrow the Government if it becomes too corrupt or powerful, sadly it says nothing about the corporations or privately owned security (known as the police).
I also remember a quote by a cop who pepper sprayed an Eighty-year old woman ". . . the same affects occur and would result the same if it happens to a 10 year old as well as an 80 year" not the exact quote but something to what a police officer said.
@TuWear Which to me really just shows how everything, no matter how good it seems at it's point of conception, still needs to be upgraded and updated. I'm referring to the constitution of course. But it could also be said for the Bible and any other text that people hold in high regard which no longer seems applicable to todays problems.
Human beings supposedly aren't perfect, so can writing declarations on a piece of paper be considered perfect? I guess this is where "dogma" originates.
@enticed2zeitgeist I agree, it is obsolete to today's standards because things change and improve and holding to what is old and traditional isn't moving forward rather than staying stagnant. The bible right when it came in was already obsolete to many books at it's times, even Rome and Greece only used their legends, myths as just stories and had an atheistic like society and moved forward as much as they can.
Nothing is prefect, but everything will always improve; one day society will one day
@TuWear Do you really think we have a chance of getting beyond the issues today? I'd like to think so, but I see such little effort made by the common human to take responsibility for their own actions.
@TuWear I'm not blaming anyone directly either, just society like you said. I truly believe everyone is working within their own moral borders that society has given to them and for the few of the population that believes in change it's merely just that moral borders have changed and they've chosen to uphold what they believe is just and fair.
I suppose in the grand scheme of things, in a short time, its actually quite impressive this many people from an American Metropolis actually show up
@enticed2zeitgeist I am not either. I believe it was what society had influenced them to believe and what is comfortable or not. It also pisses me off many and plenty are close-minded.
I hope things shift to a more open and less profitable world to where later there will be no monitory system.
I think my spell check mistook it for something else lol, I got it wrong on accident. It is a flawed system that the greeks and romans were wanting out of.
As in, the Greeks and Romans have been wanting a system to where it would make one rich by what resources they have rather than monetary gain, but they couldn't since the world's resources haven't been available to them.
Lee, you give me renewed hope that the Occupy Movement really is about more than just camping out in a public place.
In my area (city of 80k people) our protest has mostly turned into a homeless shelter. We see probably 10 - 20 honest, good hearted folk show up everyday to try and have discussions about things they can do to help out but they mostly get turned away because everyone is obsessed with camping out instead of actually focusing on the end goals.
A lot of people are still sleep.I try to wake people up but they refuse to wipe the sleep out of their eyes and look around at the filth that surrounds us.

@TuWear You are wrong. Thats the Declaration of Independence. "When, in the course of human events, etc' isnt from the COTUS.
Im with OWS, but I also stand with fact. :)

@sakar181 Haha thank you, I sometimes get them mixed up. Now I can say that with official confidence of not having it wrong.

I guess this is where "dogma" originates.
enticed2zeitgeist 3 months ago
@enticed2zeitgeist I agree, it is obsolete to today's standards because things change and improve and holding to what is old and traditional isn't moving forward rather than staying stagnant. The bible right when it came in was already obsolete to many books at it's times, even Rome and Greece only used their legends, myths as just stories and had an atheistic like society and moved forward as much as they can.
Nothing is prefect, but everything will always improve; one day society will one day

@TuWear Do you really think we have a chance of getting beyond the issues today? I'd like to think so, but I see such little effort made by the common human to take responsibility for their own actions.
enticed2zeitgeist 3 months ago
@enticed2zeitgeist I do think we have a chance, but getting through it will be very difficult.
I'm not blaming people, just society.
TuWear 3 months ago
@TuWear I'm not blaming anyone directly either, just society like you said. I truly believe everyone is working within their own moral borders that society has given to them and for the few of the population that believes in change it's merely just that moral borders have changed and they've chosen to uphold what they believe is just and fair.
I suppose in the grand scheme of things, in a short time, its actually quite impressive this many people from an American Metropolis actually show up
enticed2zeitgeist 3 months ago
@enticed2zeitgeist I am not either. I believe it was what society had influenced them to believe and what is comfortable or not. It also pisses me off many and plenty are close-minded.
I hope things shift to a more open and less profitable world to where later there will be no monitory system.
TuWear 3 months ago
@TuWear I hear ya loud and clear man (or girl)!
I'm not sure if you purposely misspelled monetary system ans monitory but that's pretty much what it is! A system for monitoring power and influence!
enticed2zeitgeist 3 months ago
@enticed2zeitgeist Haha thanks I am a guy.
I think my spell check mistook it for something else lol, I got it wrong on accident. It is a flawed system that the greeks and romans were wanting out of.
TuWear 3 months ago
@TuWear Well I think I'm gonna have to make a video comparing the two words now ;)
Would you mind expanding in brief what you mean about the Greeks and Romans wanting out of the monetary system? What year are we talking about here?
enticed2zeitgeist 3 months ago
@enticed2zeitgeist Haha No need.
