  • Gosh...I don't like her...she has no friends...why?...inappropriate flirt...and she can't dance...

  • These shows always cast English actors, even to play foreigners. It gets kind of annoying.

  • @RatedArggg

Indeed. Well, at least, they could get ppl who speak their respective idioms more convincingly. (Actually the remark I made at the previous segment). Además, se nota por los poros que la bailarina no es latina... pero bueno. David Suchet, lui, il fait bcp mieux, mais la 'Vorlage' de Agatha Christie n'est pas toujours très nette...

  • @RatedArggg You read my mind! In some cases it's just fine....BUT, in others it's just awful! This is a case of ahhwwfuhhl!

This "Argentine" woman is SO terribly English. Beautiful and attractive, yes! But not at all convincing as a Latin temptress! No fire in the eyes, and woefully out of her body! The Argentine femme fatale should completely inhabit and organically command her body, naturally expressing her life force and joie de vivre through all of her movements, words and entire being...

  • @RatedArggg ...thus creating an unstudied, irrepressable, and terribly enchanting allure!

Instead we get a halting, insecure, and false attempt at this thrilling charm, completely at odds with the aura of confident sensuality that should effortlessly emanate from her being. It falls flat with an enourmous THUD!

In her defense, she's probably a fine actress. This is just not her role!

  • I just realised the actor playing Mr Carter is the one who plays Major Monroe (Scottish intelligence officer) in Sharpe.

  • Marevelous Raven... I dis watch, once again, Murder on the Links, but no luck in my search. I'm looking to find whether Agatha wrote anything about that period of time in which Hasting went abroad, south, to try that notoriously difficult institution, and, as I have heard from Poirot, even set up a restaurant in Argentina; which he must have done out of love or spite... is there anything to watch on this complication?

  • Raven, thank you, thank you...!, but I need to know wich episode (if there is one) develops on Hastings love affari in Argentina...?

  • @ThalesdeM Hastings meets Bella Duveen (his wife he takes to Argentina) in Murder on the Links. :)

  • Thanks for another treat.

    Cheers!
