No, instead try and imagine the tale about the boy who cried wolf, only on a much grander scale. Think about what you lose when you break the trust that you have with another person, you are essentially throwing every experience that you and that person could have had together as friends out the window. Life is too short and too challenging to be sacrificing friends like that Alex, I hope that by eighteen you have learned this like Pinnochio did, for I dont think there is a blue fairy in life.

Im sure you think that you have heard it all before when it comes to telling the truth, but just as we have been doing this whole time I want you to try and look a little deeper into what it means to be dishonest. The consequences for lying will only grow as you and I grow older Alex, it wont always be just a scolding from our parents, at least i hope not.
