I for one prefer using women in fighting games. The dash cancel is paramount in AH3, and the fact that it takes up meter is . . .

Also, while there is a universal launcher and universal "slam down" (IDK) button, many charcters have an additional launcher or additional "slammer" (I'm just going to keep using that word). Some characters even have normals that extend air combos that lead into the universal double jump or universal eight - way dash cancel. The burst prevents infinites from taking over and has a gauge of its own. End Post.

Games like Blazblue and Skullgirls are fun to watch, as they have really interesting and functional balancing to them and the overall styles are much more appealing to myself. Capcom kinda doesnt know shit about fun in fighting games.

Have you looked at AH3's gallery? The "Hot Girl Sandwich"? There's plenty more that I can't recall right now . . . my mind is full of Streets Of Rage right now.
You can say I'm an SF fan. I like almost the whole series. I say almost because I don't like SFIV. I don't even touch it case anymore.
I don't know what you're assuming about me, but you can tell that I'm a fan of anime and fighting games. AH3 is actually my favorite fighter at the moment. I like everything about it ...

I like the game and the homing cancel mechanics, and I like anime fighters like BB or GG, but bro, SF and MvC3, SF specially, are the best fighters nowadays

Response to Part 1 of your comment. Yes, I never knew japanese animation with great detail and focus on the buttocks, breasts, and pretty much every other part of the female body was gay. I also didn't know girls screaming, yelling, and moaning in defeat was gay either.
Response to Part 2: That is just opinion, not fact. Different people consider different games to be the best. You can say one is for traditional fighters, or for Marvel lovers, but "the best" is opinion.

@Geekandcool I beg to differ, SF and UMVC suffer from terrible tier balancing, tot he point where mirror matches are pretty much almost every match. I cant watch these games anymore because they lack the variety they are supposed to bring.
Games like Blazblue and Skullgirls are fun to watch, as they have really interesting and functional balancing to them and the overall styles are much more appealing to myself. Capcom kinda doesnt know shit about fun in fighting games.

Problem with alot of westerners is that they see something vaguely anime style and write it off IMMEDIATELY. How is that fair? It's got nothing to do with not liking the style and everything to do with discrimination. SG fans want people to try the game before deciding whether they like it or not.
I do find some SG fans to be painfully obnoxious though, but most fanbases have those types.

Lol guys relax...i think what that josh guy was implying was that...anime games have a different style than regular games..look at mvc3....the past versions werent considered an anime game cause they had jab strong fierce short etc...anime games go into a more simple approacg...thats why mvc3 is considered an anime game...L, M, H, S. @69sins I'd call them airdash fighters personally. KOF is an anime fighting game but has a completely different playstyle to say, Blazblue or MVC. It's really hard (and silly) to label games as such though because every game has it's own style.
Blazblue - Anime - ABCD, high combo airdash fighter
MVC3 - Not Anime - ABCD, high combo tag airdash fighter
Street Fighter - Anime - 6 button low combo ground fighter
Skullgirls - Not Anime (it's not) - 6button, high combo tag airdash fighter.

SF is japanese, and if you've ever played Alpha or the VS. series (CVS, TVC, MVC) you'll realize that most, if not all, characters by Capcom are done in an anime art style.
Like one fan of SF2 said, "Street Fighter was anime before I even knew what anime was". People who hate anime yet like Street Fighter games sounds so contradicting, a paradox even.
Hell, I got into anime BECAUSE of Street Fighter. SFIIV, SFIIV The Movie, and SF Alpha, while being a little far from canon, are awesome anime.

Skullgirls is made by a lot of Former tournament players (Starting with Mike Z, the Original Soviet Damage Master), and you can definitely tell that by alot of the mechanics are built specifically for tourny players. Beside, if tourny players wants only boobs, wouldn't we be seeing lots of Morrigan and Trish in UMVC3? We don't, because they're not practical in tourny without team synergy. ONLY WINNING MATTERS!
