I don't know why everyone's hating on this truck, it's a nice rig. Brand loyalty is just about the dumbest way to judge any vehicle, as every automaker has their pros and cons. In just about a year, Chrysler's new CEO has taken their fading truck line and completely turned it around. The 2011-12 Ram trucks are fantastic. Same with Ford, in the late 90's and early 2000's their F-150 was a death trap. Now it's a great truck. Ford, Chevy, Ram, Toyota, whatever your preference, get over it.

The transmissions do not hold up and neither does the newer 318 or the 360.

The transmission is just a modified version of the ones that were used in the dodge caravans, same parts different case not to mention the horrible suspensions and defective front hubs in damn near every 4x4 Ram, if you want comfort and reliability drive a Chevy if you want a truck that will haul concrete and plow snow without breaking buy a Ford

I know I'm going to be biased as a Raptor owner, but when I look at this truck, it just doesn't have the same appeal as a Raptor. It looks huge and heavy and uncomfortable to drive off road whereas a Raptor looks big but agile, ready to jump and land smoothly.

Just my thoughts. I can't wait until I see an actual Dodge/Chevy production truck that can do what the Raptor does, it'll be interesting to see how they fix their trucks up.

Overall, this truck doesn't stand a chance against a Raptor. First of all, it still has those gay ass coil springs. Second, the Raptor has a better motor (the 6.2L) which makes it far more responsive. Third, the RamRunner is more purpose built, excluding it from pretty much any other purpose for a truck which the Raptor still retains. Then again if I wanted a PreRunner, I'd build my own.
