It's so difficult to make a character like Jamie likable. But Norbert does it perfectly. It's really hard to not fall in love with him.

PLEASE see the Grand Theatre (London, Ontario, Canada) version of this play. Catherine Hiatt, played by Julie Martell, and Mark Uhre's character, Jamie Wellerstein. Mark actually not only bats it out of the ballpark, but bests this guy here.

@barnesandnoblenook I saw it last night, actually. Mark was very good. Vocal range wasn't where it should be, but he did this song VERY well. Nobody beats Norbert though :P

I love all the layers in this song. On the surface its just a cute love song, but underneath its the first time we see that Jamie judges everything in his life by sucsess, including Kathy. Masterful interweaving of emotion
