Thank you for the tears. I love this. I have two young autistic grandsons by my twin daughters. One is just like your son. He is only 3, almost 4. He doesn't talk but he says a word or two on occasion. I know how your heart feels. They are gifts many people can't recognize.

I think one of the gifts that Jack has given me is patience. He has one speed and nothing really makes him move any faster. I've learned to adapt to his pace and it's caused me to slow down in life.
