Okay so I figured out how the "tools" I had to hit the "Alt" button lol, but now i'm confused about what to do after I go into Itunes: Edit>Preferences>and then Advanced! I do not know what to do after I do this? I know you said go into Start>Documents>and then you said look for Itunes. So I go into my music folder and I see Itunes, but I do not see a music folder set up like yours! Do you think you could help me? Thank you.

@Samwise920 I am actually not sure why that happened, but I believe that is the same thing that happened to me once. I am still finding songs on my computer that I lost years ago, so it is on your computer, but under different names.

Doesn't iTunes automatically open and begin syncing when you plug an iPod in? How do you keep it from doing that? Thanks.

@trobertsstjohn To fix that just open iTunes and click on your iPod in the device list, then at the bottom middle or bottom right or in the very middle, it should ask you if you want to sync when connected. Uncheck that box and it should stop

@MCB400100 This video is to take music off your old iPod Nano and move it to a new iPod or just to put it on your Computer. It is very easy to put music that is on your computer onto a iPod, this is the opposite though.

Wow! Thanks a bunch man! I couldn't find any other video on Youtube that could help transfer the music from my iPod Nano to my Window Vista computer and then by the slightest chance I found yours! Everything worked out perfectly except the only thing I have to do now is recreate all my playlists, but that's okay. It's worth taking the time to do since you helped me out, and also to decrease my stress and panic level from thinking I lost all my music!

@cambridgesoundwok100 Yeah Sorry, I had that Problem too. For those songs I had to manually change the name. If you can't remember the Band or the Name of the song you could download "Tunatic" which will read the song and tell you! Hope This Helps!

@hamzagreat456 This only works on older versions of iPod's. Apple got rid of this because they don't want people to share their music, (Peer to Peer). If you want to put your music on your friends library you will need to transfer the music on your computer to a Flash Drive or External Hard Drive and move that music to your friends library.
