Looks great and it's low enough to chop the grass while you drive over it. :D I'm building a mini bike from an existing moped frame, but there will be a lot of fab work involved... which means more welding... more fun... and more fumes, and more UV skin burns from not wearing protective clothing or sunscreen.

nice project , i have a question about the engine youre using, im planning on building somthing simulare and i have a couple of b&s 3,5 hp engines but i wonder if they run as good when you stand the engine up cous its supposed to be lying down on a lawn mower right? did you have to modifie it somehow or did you just flip the gastank?? i´d be happy to know. / sorry for my english im from sweden ;)

@MrVolvob23 . if you turn the motor from a vertical shaft to horizontal the motor will over heat. the oil is supposed to lay in the case in a certain direction and if you turn it it will not lubricate and you could possibly have a malfunction

@cyclone1134 Wire might help maybe 0.30" or 0.23" for thin metal, flux cored or a shielding gas like argon. Sticks are usually hard to control on small contours an may generate too much heat causing burn through or there was just a large gap that needed filling. I usually will cut a piece of metal to fill the gap or bend and cut the surrounding joint till the work has no gaps. The project is moving forward so even if it doesn't look the best it does add to ones experience. Mission accomplished.

Im Converting my mini chopper to a 4 stroke briggs 2.5 or a china clone 2.75 OHV engine idk this weekend im going to try and finish the rebuild on the briggs. but any way my question was do you think i could make my bike run with a 16 tooth clutch and a 55 tooth rear sprocket?

the wheel is a little more than a foot tall but i have changed some plans on the bike. im making a jack shaft so that i dont have to filp the rear wheel arround and reweld the brake calapers. i will also be able to change my gear ratio with jack shaft. i found that the 2 stroke that came with the bike had a 6:1 trany on it so that helps my problem alot. ill probably go with a 4, or 5:1 since i could hit about 30mph with the 6:1 at 5000rpm with a 49cc 2 stroke.
