When Hermione says I love you to Snape,she's telling him that for the first time.Snape responds by saying he loves her too.That means he always secretly loved her.Then at the end of comic,he realizes he just admitted to Hermione that he loves her and he didn't mean to. He said I love you too without thinking.Does that make sense?
