Okay, The feeling lack an edge. Their sound is too saccharine. They need a dirtier guitar sound in there; more hammond organ type keyboards; more attitude in the lyrics (they can just bloodywell try it is a bit like a middle class kid trying to swear to piss of his parents). Oh, and let's not forget that they do look like wank spanners. Apart from all that, they have a decent sense of melody. Hope that's constructive.

I actually think that that's the charm of The Feeling. They aren't afraid of being cheesy. They are TRYING to be soft-core. If that appeals to some people, then why begrudge them? We need more unashamed old-fashioned pop-rock. All you've said, dunkiep, is that they don't conform to your preconceived ideas of what sort of music a rock band should produce. If they went a little less sweet and a little dirtier, they would lose their charm and sound like everything else.
