  • 1:14 No, it's not. It only does that because it's fwd. It's caused by the differentials' natural urge to equal out the power between both drive wheels. It hardly, if at all, works on rwd vehicles.

  • Im turning 16 soon...i dont really want to drive cuz i want to move to toronto and most people take subways lol but im sort of nervous to take it :$ lol ive never drove a car befor omg

  • If your driving in florida you dont need a turn signal!!

  • I been learned how to drive I thought myself

  • over hand turn where i live,

  • excellent teacher. His videos have really helped me improve my driving.

  • I thought you were supposed to turn your signal on 100 ft. before making a turn?..

  • Like my mom told me a video cant teach you how to turn you got to go out and PRACTICE

  • Thanks for this video very helpful

  • 240p we meet again

  • getting a driving licence is so expensive and hard in Netherlands.

First of all you must spend about 1300 euro's on lessons... before you may attempt an exam(each exam 200 euro's).

Then you must drive perfectly, one not-smooth gear change and you are failed

  • @BoerVis Well, compared to Norway that's nothing. An average license costs about 4.500 euro's. And same thing about the driving, one little fault and you have failed.

The title kind of says it all about American driving tests though. They can't even make turns, and still pass.

  • Thanks T-Pain.

  • @swifel1k T-Pain ahahahaahhahha

  • @swifel1k If you are looking for free driving test prep questions, check out DrivingTests101[dot]com. It's available on 8 countries and growing fast! Cheers

  • shouldnt give out his phone number :]

  • If you are in NY, at least, you will INSTANTLY fail ur road test doing this.

  • @JODonnell2194 same where i live. It has to be hand over hand

  • uhhh uhhh uhhh...

  • it was auto-transmition omfg thats why he didnt explain about the gas and clutch Lol'd

  • very helpful.

  • 680 people know the rules while 56 people don't know the rules and FAIL the road test!

  • Odds of FNUICGKGIENRGS getting laid = 0

  • My god you'd fail for that in the England (letting the steering wheel go like that to straighten up) now I know why a uk driving licence is accepted everywhere in the world and no retest needed after a year as we would make a foreign driver coming into this country take a test after one year, (also the states make foreigners retake a test after one year, excluding British of course)

  • DUDE THATS MY CAR !!

  • He only explains to the steering wheel when he turns, nothing about clutch or gas or brake....

  • YOUR VIDEO helped me a lot today, this was MAGICAL !: Thank you, sir, I really appreciate your instruction, I loved it !!!

  • Does it matter if I use the hand over hand method when i take my driving test? My parents tell me they will take off points for that but i want to make sure.

  • Your video is EXCELLENT, it helped me a lot

  • he's a cool guy

  • lol every one prank call him 314-584-0116

  • Very nice... like it

  • Yeah, this seems like a much more fluent turning method. Thank you sir!

  • i got t-pain's phone number xD

  • you have to do hand over hand if you wanna pass my test you cant let it slide

  • wtf was the phone number for? he trying to hook up online? lol

  • This is going to help out a lot. Thank you!!!

  • lmao he's like taking his hands off of the wheel to explain while driving.

But thank you so much!! This helped alot :D

  • I let the wheel slip through my fingers like he did and i fucking failed my test!!

  • Thats what I wanted to know is how much I turn the steering wheel

  • when i let go for the wheel to come back i end up continuing to drift to the left lane. can someone tell me what im doing wrong?

  • thanks yall really help me alot

  • How could you fail an American driving test?

  • @lko14 When ur drunk!

  • he just taught me better then any one has thank you soooosooo much :))))

  • He's a nice driving instructor.

  • You have to be retarded to fail a driving test in america since its a damn joke. What you drive for 15 mins in an automaic transmission lmao.

  • No one gives a fuck about this turning shit when they're out driving in real life, but god forbid if you don't turn like this on the test you get fucked.

  • THANKS T{PAIN :)

GOT MY 1ST DRIVING LESSON ON TUESDAY THIS SURELY WILL HELP :)

  • "Push pull and slide" What are you doing.. raping those kids?

  • "most people have accidents out hurr"

  • thank

  • hand over hand is what you have to do on a road test at all times why is he showing the wrong thing... some instructor

  • uhhhhh...uhhhhhhhh ....an an and uhhhhh

  • Push pull and slide... oh yeah! Also why teach in an automatic??? Also watching this you're not meant to let the wheel slide through your hands as it shows a lack of control of the car and some if not most examiners will fail you for it.

  • Push pull and slide... oh yeah! Also why teach in an automatic???

  • Thanks this was alot of help

  • what werrr gonna do hurrr is lurrrn how to turn

  • This gentleman is very good. My daughter keeps referring back to him. She called me into her room to see his videos... I was amazed. My daughter has a minor learning disability that requires more time, attention and focus. Thank you, Sir, for taking the time to make these videos to help new drivers better understand what is expected of them.. (and to also help the parents..! ) *smiles

  • EXCELLENT teaching, sir, it helped me a lot: thank you !

  • Surprisingly helpful!

  • this guy seems really down to earth.

  • Everyone he's wrong. To perform a proper turn u use the hand-over-hand method, otherwise u cud fail or get a point deducted on ur driving test.

  • uhhhh.

  • imo the hand-over-hand method is easier

  • My damn instructor keeps telling me that's not the way. I'm pissed.

  • my driver ed teacher yelled at me for turning with one hand! like wtf! whats wrong with one hand? .. im not great with me left hand

  • Fuck it didn't work asshole. I ran into a pole.

  • Embarrassing I have to look up videos for help on turns, but this really helped! My instructors taught me the push pull and slide thing, but I cannot get it down for the life of me. They did it fast and expected me to reciprocate so quickly, but I can't :( I'll definitely keep this tips in mind because they seemed to help. Thank you!

  • Wow this actually helped alot. Thx :)

  • I wouldnt let go of my wheel unless I had a transformer ...

  • Aye you trippin bruh bruh!

  • Geeeezzz, use your hands to turn the wheel like that IS NOT good in real driving condition.

  • Thanks Chef!

  • Thank you very much! Tomorrow I start driving out in real world traffic X-/

I'm nervous, but this video helps a lot.

  • all you haters out there needa stop trollin at least he tries and at least hes helping people out i dont see you guys doin dat

  • thanks 4 this vadio

  • true but not all dps officers arent thay way

  • im gonna prank call the shit outta you now. thanks

  • if this was PA you'd fail...you can't let the wheel steer itself straight. you have to purn it back physically

  • i steer with 1 finger BEAT THAT NIGGA!

  • Im so confused, push pull or hand over hand? ive been using push pull and i literally experienced some bad turns because the push pull is too slow, my dad says that the hand over hand is faster. maybe ill just listen to my dad

  • @oxnerd No doubt, same here.

  • @oxnerd

I'm exactly the opposite, but yeah, I think you just have to go with what works for you. My driving instructor keeps telling me hand over hand, but I'm doing the push pull thing.

  • I steer with my feet

  • @EvoPogo you mean your thighs?

  • Aproach the turns at a slower speed, do the majority of the braking before you turn. Then turn the wheel smoothly, and keep it at the same degree throughout the turn. Accelerate slightly coming out of the turn, and straigthen the wheel.

  • This guy is awesome, he even gives life advice in his driving instruction! "Most teenagers have not learned to manage their nerves yet, and a lot of times even as adults we be nervous, but we don't let our nerves control us we control our nerves, OK?" So true, thanks man! :)

  • how many people prank called that phone number?

  • too much turning, this is a bs method

  • out HURR

  • This dude is so knowledgable and his soothing and reassuring voice must really instill confidence in his students...great vid really helped alot, thanks!

  • I dislike caster & common steering ratios. The wheel returns to center because of positive caster, the wheels are ahead of their mounting points (like a bike), this helps the car drive straight & cambers wheels for turning but makes turning harder, & recovering from a slide, the natural camber from the caster works against you when countersteering to regain control. I like zero caster, positive camber & steering like F1, but I accept many cars aren't like this so this video was helpful. Thanks.

  • very very useful

  • I want this guy as my instructor! This was very helpful!

  • The driver instructor I had wouldnt let me go on the road until I MASTERED the hand over hand, which I felt I did, but no I have to PERFECTLY land in 10 and 2 or its WRONG. I wish you were my drivering instructor lol

  • @8LiGhTs8 Wherever you're located, I'm probably sure 10 and 2 may be useful but it can be dangerous because if a air bag deploys ( u know the rest) but either 8 and 4 or 9 and 3 may be best and hand over hand is a shocker b/c in dmv of pa hand over hand is elgible but the push-pull method was used for when I passed my road test!

  • WRONG WRONG WRONG! You NEVER tell a student to "let the wheel go". Here in Wisconsin it is an automatic fail for taking you hands off the wheel. Its no different than saying "look mom...no hands". How can you even claim to have a "firm grip on the wheel when the wheel is allowed to slip free from your grip? This Video is an absolute way to fail your test! I've been teaching Driver Education for years and I am also an Emergency Medical Technician. You NEVER let the wheel slide free. EVER!

  • It's Lil' Jon! Damn, he fell off hard!

  • thank you. I'm 23 and terrified to LEARN how to drive (yup I still don't know!). These videos are helping me slowly get used to the movements with the steering wheel.

  • @acapulco214 I'm 24 and same, I'm really nervous driving. These videos are actually really helpful! I love having a sort of formula for how to do this, how to do that - it gives you an effective place to start and build your own technique :D

  • I did this and pass

  • This was really helpful.

  • useful video - great work - keep it up!!

  • KEEP YO HANDS ON DA WHEEL

  • HOLD UP, bra, u forgot that shoulder check when you made that right hand turn,,, brother you fail , ya her.

  • AMERICAN CARS IS EASIER THAN EUROPEAN CARS COS OF THE MANUAL TRANSMISION :s

  • this guy is a bad driver.

  • Do you have a English video?

  • Thank-you, my turn's tend too be too wide. This really helped.

  • 0:01

  • Guys idk if your allow to do this bit I think you should be it's easy

  • It really isn't that difficult to turn that you need to learn "techniques" to turn..

  • Road test examiners do not like to see the steering wheel slide in your hands back to the center. They view that practice as a loss of steering control.

  • Let er go...if shes power steering

    haha

  • who the fuck cant turn 0-0....oh i foregot...sorry women

  • uhhhh uuuhhhh uuuhhhhh....y he keep sayn dat?? ugh.

  • what the hell he didn't even use hand over hand....

  • The driving test on automatic transmission is so simple!

    I like it!

  • i'm the woman that call you ....your a great teacher when i pass my road test i will call you again much rastafari love.......lol blessings

  • @menentafari get off his dick bitch

  • this sucks!.... u dont turn like that !..... jeje he is so funny... he dont even use the signal damm wat a f**** instructor!...

  • how to TURN a car! are you serious?!

  • I just failed my driving test because of him.

  • i need to practice my turns !!!!

  • it would have been cooler if he explained this in an auto-tuned voice

  • thanks t-pain!!!!

  • @Jeffco619 hahaha good one

  • @Jeffco619 I can't even concentrate on this video.. You got over here cracking up lol..

  • @Jeffco619 hahahahahahhaha

  • Power Steering.

  • The road Test in Florida is a joke and i really hate myself for not passing it on my first try(perpendicular parking). They don't take you on the road to properly test your driving skills. I would've passed it if i was able to park properly(needs more practice) even though my road skills suck as far as turnings.

  • Thumbs up, if you'd want to see more videos posted on how to properly demonstrate perpendicular parking.

  • BTW, i took my DMV test at the DMV's course/parking lot. I failed it on my first try because i was unable to perpendicular parking correctly.

  • I was driving on the road before taken my DMV test today, and i made so many mistakes on my turnings. When i turn, i don't use the accelerator/Gas to quickly make the turn(Especially right turns). I usually took my driving lessons on parking lots areas and the turns are easy and smoother to demonstrate because the car is moving at 10 MPH; but i'm still having problems on how to make turns properly on the real road.

  • CAN I GET AN AMEN=?????

  • Nice. The first expertvillage video that has actually helped. :)

  • getting tired of these britney spears ad's X| take em off already!

  • nice video man tnx

  • gah turning freaks me out so fuckin much.im always scared im going to turn late.going left i turn too early and im practically in the oncoming lane, tuning right i turn early as well and i cut the curb.my timing awful.

  • KEEP YOUR HANDS ON THE WHEEL

  • they miss they right time

  • I have trouble turning too!

  • NOO

  • Fuck driving tests, my dudes bitch ass is gonna fail me cuz i went over the white line at a stop sign. That's because to left of me was a line of fucking trees! I couldn't see shit, while cars are coming up that road at 45 miles per hour. i guess here in PA it's either pass the test or risk your life.

  • @juiceboxhero12 Same thing happen to me first time taking the drivers test. Now i got to retake the permit all over again. It sucks up here Ohio. Im from pa as well

  • @tcw00 Haha yeah dude that must suck! I take it for the second time in 4 days, I've gone over the route they take like 50 times now, if i don't pass......Haha but goodluck to you! A lot of it is just thinking about those little things.

  • @juiceboxhero12 Im so there with you. Thanks Man. Good luck to you too

  • In the uk if you done this you would fail straight away, drivers in America are terrible

  • @rossg26 haha that's funny. No. Drivers in places like india are bad.

  • what about hand over hand??

  • Don't you need to shoulder check aswell?

  • haha, dude. You MUST keep BOTH hands on the wheel at ALL times. Do not let go of the steering at any time, you will fail immediately. You need to keep in control at all times. Do let go of the wheel once the turn has been accomplished, but keep your palms as close to the steering wheel as possible. If you feel like you need to, let go with your left hand, but keep it an inch from the steering wheel, and directly turn the wheel in the opposite direction with the right hand until the wheel is back

  • haha "Someone can hit you from the back". lls

  • Who's this gangster?

  • LET HUR GO

  • I appreciate this video so much. I recently failed my drivers test miserably! Turning is a difficult thing for me. I’m gonna use the push, pull, slide technique during my next lesson. Hope it works. Thank you

  • Yeah I did that type of turning prior to seeing this video. Failed the road test because I "didn't have control of the wheel". Turn hand over hand and hand over hand back. DO NOT LET THE WHEEL GO!!! This is poor information.

  • my driving instructor says not to let go of steering wheel, after the turn becuase you could lose control of the car if your traviling over ice or wet road.

  • Thanks

  • @MrPlowHDD One for you, the other one for the instructor.

  • To help out with the maneuvers, some driving school's cars have it, other don't. In my school we have one extra mirror in the right mirror.

  • Never let the steering wheel slide thru your fingers!....Ever!

  • Driving test with Automatic Gear? wtf So you just need to steer and watch for signs? lol

  • Technique only gets you so far. A combination of steering and speed needs to be controlled in harmony for good things to happen. Only experience can learn that.

Also, children shouldn't be driving a potential killing machine.

  • i hope this isnt nessecary i never use this technique, i just steer and that works out good for me

  • He teaches children the "Push, pull, and slide" method.

  • I got yelled at an hour ago by the Drivers Ed guy for not knowing how to do hand over hand. I think I do, but him yelling made me nervous.

  • @mexifrida i started today with my dad and he went crazy and it made me nervous

  • you are a live saver!!!!

  • stupid fucking america, be pro and use manuals

  • @EddieLolz3r you should try sucking that dick in your butt

  • Gay with your lazy automatics pffft. How can anyone find driving hard if you don't have to change gear or blend a clutch.
