My friends and I were talking about the possibility of the Pirates winning the World Series this year and how the city of Pittsburgh would literally explode.

It's funny.. I absolutely love the Penguins but I can't stand the Steelers ..probably because of the rivalry with my dad and his worshiping of Terry Bradshaw's team.. I don't watch baseball so I have no idea if the Pirates are even good enough to win a title.. 3 championships in one year for one city would be hilarious though

yeah it's funny how sports loyalties overlap on a city in one sport and not another. I was a kid in Pittsburgh so I love all those teams. I moved to Phoenix my best friend was a Pirates fan but lived in Erie, PA and somehow was a Bills fan. colby was an amazing player who brought intensity to the game. Christensen was a reliable guy who could coome away with nice shootout goals. Both really good aspects to our team. But...marian hossa brings something that neither of them could ever bring. A star prescence. everytime he is on the ice you get the feeling that something amazing can happen. Trust me, i love christensen as much as the next guy and colby is my favorite player but it was a good trade.
