I am a long time best friend to Kevin's aunt and I happened to know there is nothing gay about this song. It is a beautiful tribute to his Dad Gerald who passed with cancer. He is now missing both of his grandparents but does have a beautiful family who loves him very much. This is probably gonna sound corny...but I think about my love for the Backstreet Boys when I hear this song. When I was a kid, no one really much attention to me so I just watched their concerts on my VHS or listened to their CDs. And even to do this day if I'm ever depressed, I listen to them and cheer up. They've gotten me through so much through all these years. I will never forget them. My love for them is never gone. :D

@nichole23241 That doesn't sound corny at all. I was teased pretty much my entire life because I'm heavy set. Every time I listen to their songs my spirits are lifted. I especially enjoy the song "What Makes you Different (Makes you Beautiful) It's the one that REALLY helped me get through the day. In my heart, mind, and soul my love for them remains. "Never Gone"

I am a long time best friend to Kevin's aunt and I happened to know there is nothing gay about this song. It is a beautiful tribute to his Dad Gerald who passed with cancer. He is now missing both of his grandparents but does have a beautiful family who loves him very much. I know his aunt was very touched to have such a beautiful son written for her big brother who she loved very much.
