i just ducked one of these things...apparently there is a colony in the attic. we're remodeling the bathroom and it got in through the ceiling fan. still havent found it yet its hiding someplace upstairs...how long can they survive without food or water?

I just got awoken by one fluttering overhead, thats an eye opener. It was an epic battle, I stunned it with my pillow then went in for the kill with a shoe.

Bats are very usefull creatures so dont kill em they get rid of all the pests and bugs like mosquitos and such .

Ok What You Do Is Go By The Door Make Movement,And It Will Fly Out

When they're active like this, there's several things you can do to get rid of them.

1 - depending on how far it is from the nearest door, you can try proping it open and hoping it flies out

2 - If you have some on hand, SILLYSTRING is a great way to knock them out of the air. then just put a box in front of them & carry them outside.

3 - Worst case scenario: a tennis racket. (Not something I normaally condone, but if it won't leave on it's own you have to get rid of it SOMEHOW :( )

That was almost as much fun as the time I woke up to find a possum sniffing around my bedroom. It eventually went to sleep on a stack of clean sheets where it was very happy till my husband could make it home and extract it for me. :P
