This trailer is a little misleading. You don't command an army; you command a reinforced battalion/regiment of helicopter gunships, riflemen, engineers, IFVs, tanks, and mobile artillery. And you can't just fight anywhere. You have to fight your way to the enemy capitals (It's a 3-way war) by winning a series of individual battles.

A comment past me said something about FPS in this game. I was just thinking that, it the game could have been split into 2, strategy and FPS, there would be a colonel controlling all the vehicles and perhaps engineers /riflemen . Any other player would join in as riflemen or engineer.

Pretty much. In the beginning, there's a mode called Prelude To War. They're missions that set up WWIII. Then after that there's a mode World War III. It's free roam, but the targets that you conquer are limited at times.

Nothing like that at all actualy. you're limited to 1 attack front and 1 defend front. You don't get to exactly pick where you fight. On the battlefield you can have you're own strategy though.

I remember this. When i first saw the commercial, it actually cut itself off violently halfway through (because the TV Network had some problem), so it stopped at 1:05-1:06, where the power plant just got levelled. The rest of it was dead silent.

I was actually convinced that the commercial was made that way for awhile.

I personally use the EF in the game, because they're the fastest, and I like superior electronic warfare. It sucks to be against Russia, though (I target the Russians 'cause they started it. :p) since they have better armour. :/

The XM8 is only slightly better, and it would cost a huge amount to replace it with that or the H&K M416 or something. I agree it would cost too much and thats not what we need to focus on with the spending of the countries money

@herogamez12 No in command and conquer is part of the inferior RTS genre, while End War is an RTT. In a Real Time Strategy the only "strategy" is spawning a shit load of unites and having them bum rush the enemy and hope they die before you do. in Real Time Tactics you don't get to build bases or spawn things you work with what you got an actually use strategy to outmaneuver your enemies like a real general. This game is more like Total War with assault rifles.
