I attended a lot of those when my husband was in the JAG Corps. It was the same way; we couldn't eat until all the speeches and presentations were done. I swear those judges and officers would rather flap their gums all night than eat!! I learned to tuck some granola bars in my clutch so I didn't starve.

who do u think you are of saying that? don't judge people if u barely knew them.. he just being truthful..here is the fact people/cabinet who's eating at the same table of the queen, once the queen puts down their spoons etc. it does mean that you have to stop eating as well..is that right? anither fact that these people are giving HUGE amount of taxes beatles are one of them..they should consider giving a portion to less fortunate and not spending on travel here, there etc..

Here's an interesting Beatle fact, George was named after Princess Margaret's dad King George, who was also known to be timid. That was bold and rude of George to do that! But he had guts, considering he grew up in council housing(projects) and the family had to live on the dole(welfare). I think he should have addressed the situation in a more polite manner. I can imagine Princess Margaret's reaction "Rude little peasant Beatle George, how dare he"!
