I don't understand why people cower from comparisons. We wouldn't have ethics if we didn't have others to base things on. No right or wrong. Simply compare respectfully. Nothing wrong with stating who you feel is the better vessel for the tune. I feel it's Sam Cooke and it's not even close. But I like ADELE and I'm thankful that she's keeping so many tunes alive although like Michael Buble, their modern touch can be unwelcome by us who prefer the traditional more complex delivery of the legends.

Instead of crapping on adele, we should actually praise her as a contemporary artist with actual talent and songwriting ability. Sure, most people hear a remake or a sample and think "wow great new song" (even though its 50 years old) or totally ignore that many don't write their own songs today.
