@shadownet99 In a way, that is a good thing. Because the old one(s) had really annoying AI, and as Sam, you could sneak around really easily (sometimes) in many spots that they could obviously see you, but they don't. However, it still obviously does have many attributes that the old Splinter Cells did have, so don't worry.

@shadownet99 exactly, also its much much easier. the demo was a joke. i hope the full version is more challenging then that. i just really like the cover to cover system. not really a fan of the mark and execute tho, it lets you take out at least 4 if not 5 guys in 1 second. and theres hardly ever more that 4 guys in a room at one time. sad. ill keep the faith tho.

Not sure how I feel about the auto shooting thing, where you just mark guys and he automatically takes them out for you. For me, that was part of the tension and fun in the other games, being quick and crafty enough to take guys out before they could get away or kill you. Hopefully it's just optional, and really tough situations don't require you to use it.

Well...it does not have free internet something you should have as long as youve got internet in your house. It has few good exclusives like Halo 3 and Gears Of War 1 and 2. And you also have the red rings of death, just to sum it up quickly.

i don't know. the ONLY bad thing about owning a 360 was having it die, and the thought of knowing that it will die. So far the only downside to the PS3 is that I don't get to play some of my favourite MS exclusives, like splinter cell, which rapes metal gear in my opinion.

I went for more reliability, but when the cards are down they are both quite capable of delivering a great experience. Case and point uncharted 2 (the most amazing game i've played in years), and either halo or splinter cell

my first one lasted 2 years, and the next one a year before being fried, coincidentally alongside a firmware update. So, for me it wasn't actually too shabby, but a friend of mine went through 4 in the same period, and another one through 7. we all decided to sell if we could, and whenever we sold it, pick up a PS3.

So yes the experience does differ, but I always found it disturbing that everyone I know who owned a 360 (a LOT) had it break at least once.
