@gudarboodar The Sikhs ruled the punjab dear. It was after partition only when the bloody Govt. further divided the punjab into Haryana,Himachal and chandigarh. The major portion went to Pakistan. Then the Govt. wanted to out number Sikhs. So they sent huge number of Hindus into punjab and outskirts. I dont say that Hindus were not there before partition. But the number were less as compared to Sikhs. This was all done to smash the Sikh confidence and faith. I am not against Hindus.

@errolmiranda I never said that Sikhs would want to throw Hindus out of Punjab. We never did that to anyone. And forget about support for them. When the language survey was going on..... There was a strong feeling that Punjab was gonna be declared a Punjabi speaking state just like others. But the punjabi Hindus, even though they didn't know a letter of Hindi, mentioned Hindi as their local language. This was the worst thing ever.

Now a days, even in Sikh families, they speak Hindi with their children and all. So this way our own language will would get lost. And India is just getting worst for the minorities. @coolmannuu - Well there is no harm in evolving with times.. listen no language was made as a specific. . every language has changed slightly or moreso over time even english .

india today realises that there is still caste and community issues and is encouraging inter caste marriages. trust me it works. I am an offspring of an intercaste marriage and that has made my siblings and myself very liberal and tolerant to all religions.

@errolmiranda With Wahe Gurus grace only few Gursikhs are left who actually follow the principles given by our Gurus and inter religion marriage is not acceptable. Bcoz one has to sacrifice his/her religion for that. We dont marriage Idols and I respect this principle. And if I marry someone out of my religion (For eg - Hindu) Then somewhere n somehow I'll forced to worship any idol and I dont want that. Bcoz in the end it'll create misunderstanding between the couple.
