I've banned myself from any video games except Tiger Woods golf. I play that way too much but, only on the weekends.
I see you're the same way with your friends as I'm with mine.
Furthermore, I think compromise is also a thing to keep in mind. Sometimes we need our alone time.

Relationships are much easier than people make them out to be. WoW can violate a basic relationship rule which is:
"Do not make your girlfriend feel unimportant."
It's pretty simple and I am surprised how many people blame it on the GF for "not letting them do anything."

I know about betrayal. I've had to deal with it my whole life. My brother and his friends constantly stole from me and my family.
My brother apologies and at least understands what he did was wrong.
Friends betraying you is really different though. Specially when you thought you could trust them.
