@liquidxeron /coughs yes, but Kiyoharu's been doing his stuff, formerly of the band Kuroyume since 1991. Hyde's debut was around the same time with the band L'Arc-en-Ciel (which I also love), so they were both present for, and influenced the birth of VK.
