So, Obama is against torture of prisoners if being conducted by American personnel, but it's perfectly acceptable to send them to Egypt or Pakistan to be tortured. Similarly, Guantanamo is to be closed but prisoners will be sent to Afghanistan to receive even more informal and opaque 'justice.' What bothers me about this is Obama's preference for Presidential prerogative and willingness to deceive the American public on these issues, rather than justify their necessity.
