  • It had a warm feeling as well || || V

  • My teacher gave me that chocolate and It tasted like tar and gravel (the texture). It wasn't that spicy. I gave some to my friend (he thought it was milk chocolate) he went crazy spitting all over everything

  • whyy is it on pavement? O.o

  • Firstly I love all your videos. I am learning japanese so I am able to learn the articulation a bit :D

Yes Lindt is from Switzerland. The best chocolate ever! I guess the only factory is in Aachen in Germany. I live near Aachen so I can have so much as I want. (^_^)

It is quite expensive but when you buy in the factory it is okay.

So if you want some chocolate bars just say it ;)

  • What is your real name ? :3

  • its not supposed to look like that it melted when it was shipped. I get that same bar from world market here in florida!

  • The Lind Chili chocolate, and all of Lid chocolate is kind of expensive chocolates :) Butt real good :)

  • lindt is an expensive brand from switzerland i think!

  • I can't find such chocolate here..

Prolly later I'll eat some chocolate with chili? =|

  • the chocolate is so good, but I love the dark chocolate the most, I eat 90% dark :D. But yeah, it's a good brand (costs $3 each at my area). Love the chocolate. And yes, the chili chocolate is spicy if you eat it, no lie...

  • i actually went and bought a chili chocolate after watching this video.

cuz i never saw them before..

it started burning after a while...one piece...

  • i have been so wanting this chocolate it just seems so interesting how it can sweet and spicy i hope i will like it!

  • Nah i would send u something from Poland... U are so awesome!

  • oh, the chocolate drew damp in shipping, you can tell by the color. too bad. i've had that one and it is so good. the chili just leaves a warm feeling in your mouth and throat but doesn't take away from the sweetness. i nice warm taste instead of the spicy hotness chili gives to savory food.

  • too close to camera

  • Mazzymouse it is sweedish

  • I really like your videos. The Lindt chocolate is a good brand, and they try to mix new flavors in their chocolate. My favorite so far is cherry/chili/ dark chocolate.. A bar like you have costs about $2.50 or so in the US. A Hershey bar about that size costs about $1.50. It looks like the chocolate bloomed from not being at a correct temperature. It doesn't affect the flavor, but the color should be a deep brown, almost black. I can't wait to see more videos.

  • Yes, Lindt is European; French to be exact. It's quite cheap here. You can find it everywhere.....

  • @MazzyMouse78 to be exact my friend

Lindt is from Switzerland and most of the products are made in Germany

  • they have an icecream like that in ammerica.

it tastes in layers from choclate cinnamon to spicy!

    Its very good! ^,^

But i can reemember the name...TToTT

  • Isn't Lind a swiss brand? ^u^

  • I was always jealous of all the Japanese candies, but now I know that America has a lot of candies Japan doesn't have either. I guess the grass isn't really greener on the other side.

That chili chocolate retails about 2-4 dollars, but around some neighborhoods, sales are amazing! I can get for a dollar sometimes. :)

  • I had a feeling that that Chili Chocolate was going to burn your rifles out. XD I was drooling over the Candy Corn Dots though. I love ALL varieties of Dots candy! Say, do they have Dots in Japan? n.n Mmm, it would be awesome if they made varieties of Dots localized for Japan, like Wasabi, Cherry Blossom or Green Tea Dots!

  • I live in New mexico too, but I love Chili Chocolate. It's very tasty

  • lindt also carries a sea salt chocolate. i really enjoyed that, and i'm not even a big chocolate fan. ( ´∀`)

  • i found this chocolate in Target in my city youngstown

  • I'm from New Mexico as well!! :D Thank you so much for your videos. I learned so much from you and now I love cooking.

  • hahahahahaha smells expensive

  • what chocorate (just kidding)

  • i tried the chili chocolaTE FORM LINDT...I DIDNT LIKE IT AT ALL...LOL IT WAS A FUN EXPERIENCE THO!!! LOL AND ITS ONLY LIS 2 BUCKS LOL

  • i tried the chili chocolaTE FORM LINDT...I DIDNT LIKE IT AT ALL...LOL IT WAS A FUN EXPERIENCE THO!!! LOL

  • *sniff* *sniff* Smells expensive :D lol

  • Karai written "carai" in spanish means Damn it ! and yes Lindt is actually swiss chocolate :p

  • I wonder if they sell this particular lindt's chocolate here. In Singapore, Lindt's pretty expensive, like you said because they have quite some cocoa in their products. Over here, their dark cocoa chocolate's pretty famous (selling in supermarkets) and I love their christmas gift wrapped chocolate! In comparison, the price is more expensive than Australian Cadbury and such...

  • You can get that chocolate at any Spanish oriented supermarket especially in Florida

  • I wonder how your friend got chocolate from switzerland in mexico o.O And ya it's fancy/pricy chocolate ^_^

  • Comment removed

  • thats weird I swear I had the same small Halloween candy packet.

  • Lindt is from Switzerland. Swiss chocolates are the best although I have to say that there are better brands than lindt in switzerland - its still a very good product though.

  • wo ha chocolate's fans?

  • I've eaten the Lindt Chili chocolate before and I have to say that it didn't look like that- the chocolate looks old or was in intense heat, the color is very faded... Hope you didn't eat too much of it.

  • @noshingwithparis

It's just bloomed chocolate not harmful at all

    :D

  • Congratulations on that present. Smells rich... no doubt about it. Lindt is THE top brand chocolate in Europe. I don't think there is better (and more expensive) chocolate that you can buy in a regular supermarket.

Your specimen was probably stored for a while or it took a few weeks to reach you because it should be dark brown. If it looks "dusty" it means that the cacao-fat has partly vaporized, which greatly reduces the taste.

  • lindt chocolate is a more high market brand in uk runny!! ;DD

the choc must have melted when it got sent to you D=

warmer in japan compare to scotland ><

but it sooooo yummy if u eat the choc after its been in the fridge~!! ^W^b

  • LOL how do you know what expensive smells like?

  • @takeru51 smells rich

    (no bun intended)

  • Lindt chocolate is very good chocolate.

  • gives a new meaning to 'hot chocolate'

  • @anfield22 truee datttt

  • @anfield22 bad bun

  • We have that chocolate brand here in Germany and it is one of the more expensive kind you can get in the supermarket.

  • [^_^]

  • I second unbad13's question, how does someone send you a treat or something if they want to? I know I love your cooking stuff- the egg drop soup was great when I had my cold a while ago. I'd like to send you a package for Christmas/the winter solstice if I can. You're my favorite, most helpful, youtube show.

  • i never dared trying that chocolate!! how can i send u anything if i wanted to?

  • Chile chocolate is great to use in mole sauces!

  • How you get better Runny.

  • smells like expensive? sorry i didnt understand?? O_O someone plx?

  • Oh~ you caught a cold! Take care Runny! ^ ^

  • @waatshennong

    Thanks Jan :)

  • i love chocolate with chili in it! it tingles!

  • maybe good for curry instead regular chocolate

  • Lindt chocolate is very nice. The one you have isnt cheap but not too expensive either. In canada it costs about 3$. There are many flavors like milk chocolate or 60% cocoa but my favorite is fleur de sel. A tiny dash of salt on 70% dark chocolate makes a world of difference in taste and I think you should try it some day.

  • is he stuck in traffic?

  • @aznlilhero no just in a spot

  • @aznlilhero or parking area

  • @TheCaprisunMaster oh i see the yellow line now

  • the camera kept getting closer and closer to your face haha

  • Lindt Chocolate , lol , we also have it in Germany ^^

  • I want that weather T^T

  • we can find that brand in Belgium but it's a Swiss chocolate, we have chili candy too, it's yummy.

  • That chili chocolate does seem interesting.....

  • Mexican chocolate err well chocolate from Mexico has some chili in it. Some of the chocolate does. Also, the lollipops are covered in chili powder. So, its spicy and then sweet =] My husband is Mexican and we go to Mexico to visit his family. I love Mexican candy.

  • sorry it melted thats why it looks different :( i just wanted you to try some stuff from where im at.

  • Spicy Chocolate, never heard of that.

  • That chocolate looks like it got hot and then cooled down, which means it's not in the best shape. I've had that chocolate, and it usually looks dark like regular chocolate. It doesn't hurt to eat it - it's just not as good as it can be!

  • wow they even have lindt in new mexico!? impressive

  • "It smells very rich.. I mean fancy.. I mean kinda expensive!" Haha! x)

  • lol... It's not crunchy; IT'S CRUNKY!

  • Its about 5 dollars U.S.

  • i love chili chocolate and chili hot chocolate as a drink is really nice too

  • Are you with Ericsurf6 runny-san :O?

  • Lindt is delicious ! ^^

  • lindt is one of the best switzerland chocolate brand! (if we r not talking about belgian chocolate... yum!) i love it. espacially their dark chacolate product range. i love the one with blackberry.

  • I don't really like spicy food so I probably wouldn't like spicy chocolate XD Good video! But I'm curious as to how the rest of the candy tasted :)

  • hahahha funny

  • ive been meanind to buy some of that. im a fan of Lindt. i love their 75% cocoa and sea salt and classic milk. so i think i'll get some. good video.

  • Do u like spicy food?

  • Yeah, Lindt is a german product here and as you said, very expensive. True!

But this Chocolate looks not good. Seems to be often too hot (temperature) and then cool down. (shipping excuses, i guess)

    But anyway.

It seems to be the german manufacturer do their job great. All what you said about Lindt, expecst the manufacturers, too. ^_^

    Great! ;-)

But i laugh often about your accent: Choc-Rate xDD

And a question from me: Where are you there? Looks like America. But i think you're in Japan???

  • @Krassus99 isn't switzerland ??

  • @123yaya000 yes and no. it's founded in switzerland but so far i know produced in germand. ;-)

  • "chokret" Hehe xD :D sounds funny :D

  • Love your show runnyrunny. You are super awesome ^^

  • Lindt is from Germany, Chili Chocolate is really big here... =)

  • omg its my favorite chocolate greetings from Finland

  • @runnyrunny999 A lot of those candies are very common in the US. The "Lindt" brand of chocolate isn't very expensive, but it's not a cheap chocolate either.

  • Yeah that one is popular in Germany, even though Lindt is a Swiss brand. I bought that chili chocolate myself a couple of times and I really like it.

  • hi runny ive been addicted to japans product! esp the shool thingy, could u possible to upload a video about japanese school bag? and their accessories?

  • interesting! dont you think it can be use at cooking?

btw, do you want some christmas food from finland?

  • that chili chocolate is good

    @comments

Lindt is from Switzerland by the way

  • OH, ITS A GERMAN CHOCOLATE... Lindt is expensive, in germany regular chocolate/100 gram cost about 50 cents, and this one 2 or 2.50 european Euros.

It's definitly german, but the idea of mixing chocolate with chili is over 2000 years old, and comes from the native americans in central- and southamerica.

  • OMG this chocolate is soooooooo popular in germany!

I eat lindt (the bradn) all the time

  • that chili chocolate is originally made from switzerland but i think it is much more popular in germany xD

  • really cool video :D

  • hey runny it's nice to see your sitting outside enjoying the weather

  • chili chocolate never had sounds odd but theres alot of odd foods i eat like scorpion lollipops :D

  • damm swiss schoco is the best:D lindt chili schoco didnt know it was sold outside switserland

  • I tried the chili chocolate bar, it wasn't that great. Other than that, I am a big fan of Lindt chocolates.

  • That Chili Chocolate is really nice. I often buy it myself.

  • i see chili chocolate all the time when i go to germany ..its next to the 99% chocolate..

  • NOooooooOOOOooOo!!!!! Dont eat the chilli chocolate!!! Not unless you're near a bathroom and have a few days to spare... Im just guessing... That just dosent seem like two things that should be mixed together.. Im not really sure if that legal.

What is "Karei"? Is that a curse word for hot?

  • @edtomorrow that only happens when they eat something that has a certain spice mix in it... not mild stuff like chili chocolate :P

  • Hey Runny sometime show us more of your biking adventures with "Earl" I would bet his uses training wheels..HaHaHa
