I feel like they have been deceived with this sort of thing, it is not to this extent but these people went up to pray today and they started losing balance and laughing and it scared me also my pastor is into watching Benny hinn and I don't know but something seems wrong about Benny!!!
@Julezy97 This thing (for the most part) isn't a deception. The views you heard in this video are people's opinions and not based on Scripture. If people are laughing in service and it scares you it might be a good thing for you, because it tears down any pre-concieved religious ideas of what worship is "supposed" to look like, showing what reverence is truly about: Spirit and truth. The heart. And NOT what it looks like on the outside.

@dzpisx PART 1: I humbly believe u are wrong when it comes to context. Firstly, Chapters 12-14 of 1 Cor. deal with the exercising of spiritual gifts WITHIN in a worship service. Paul very clearly instructs the Corinthians on the orderly usage of tongues . 1 Cor. 14:23 says "So if the whole church comes together and everyone speaks in tongues, and some who do not understand or some unbelievers come in, will they not say that you are out of your mind?" Then Paul instructs them........

The only way we can know is to go back to the Scriptures. The Scriptures should be our final authority in everything. There are many exampls in the Bible where people assumed that God would be ok with such and such and they were wrong. Please seriously examine your assumption.

@dzpisx PART 4: Finally, it might interest u to know that I came out of the Charismatic movement. I studied at a Bible college and I served as a minister in one of their churches for close to six years. Why I left the movement was because after extensive Bible study I came to the conclusion that many of the practices were unbiblical. I noticed that Scriptures were being twisted and long held traditions carried more authority then the plain reading in context of Scripture.

"conforming with generally accepted standards of respectable or moral behavior" Though verse 40 was referring to verses 31 and 33, still this is a good arguement against the Crowder movement. I would still like you to question whether those verses including 40 are referring to this kind of thing: that God doesn't like it when people get undignified and crazy during worship.
@Progamble Oh and a further thought on that would be that the greek "EUSCHEMONOS" (decently) means "conforming to accepted notions of propriety or good taste." Since "accepted notions of propriety" change depending on where you are, what about a church where it is accepted to get "drunk in the spirit?" Certainly it isn't right to make a drunken joke of Christianity, which this can seemingly do, but if done amongst fellow believers where this is acceptable, is it still wrong?

All I know is I love Jesus. I believe in Jesus. If I am in a church where this type of thing happens, and I see Jesus in it, I will gladly take part. I believe He has something greater for us, mysteries yet to be revealed! A relationship with Jesus was never supposed to be hard and depressing, he wants us to have fun and ENJOY life! I love Jesus.

I think even if people were filled with the Holy Spirit like in Acts, people would say it is heresy. I support Bill Johnson and the church at Bethel. The new age movement can not have visions of heaven. The new age can not heal the sick, the new age movement can not stop storms. I know people who support Bethel and they used to be exactly like the modern evangelical movement and then they were filled with the Holy Spirit & more people got saved in 1 year than the life time be4 they were filed.
@ after seeing this, I would question supporting this bill johnson. Mormons also have one of the most biggest organizations in competition with the Watchtower, however, they also say they are filled with the holy spirit which lead to conversions. Its not news that physiological "behavior change" and "classical conditioning" is at work in these churches, which I would include church at bethel also.

I went to a John Crowder "Glory Revolution" and a Todd Bentley event in 2007. I survived them both. At the time, I thought something was wrong with me because everyone else was falling on the floor. I never felt anything. I thank God that He protected me from this stuff. I am very blessed to have been truly born again and have experienced the joy of the Lord Jesus Chirst.

You need to flee from the tongues movement altogether. People who "speak in tongues" are in the same boat as these demon possessed people. In Acts, the believers were PREACHING THE NAME OF JESUS to people in their own language. People could UNDERSTAND what the Christians were saying. I got healed at Bethel from nerve damage in my feet that I had for years. I can't deny my experience. The Holy Spirit is being poured out in the last days (and that is Biblical). I don't jerk or do crunches or manifest in that way but I do feel drunk and it feels good :D. There's no mention of Heidi Baker or Randy Clark in this clip, who are also friends of these churches...perhaps because they're out changing the world healing the sick, raising the dead and feeding the poor... things Jesus did.

If people are laughing in service and it scares you it might be a good thing for you, because it tears down any pre-concieved religious ideas of what worship is "supposed" to look like, showing what reverence is truly about: Spirit and truth. @dzpisx PART 1: I humbly believe u are wrong when it comes to context. Firstly, Chapters 12-14 of 1 Cor. deal with the exercising of spiritual gifts WITHIN in a worship service. Paul very clearly instructs the Corinthians on the orderly usage of tongues . 1 Cor. 14:23 says "So if the whole church comes together and everyone speaks in tongues, and some who do not understand or some unbelievers come in, will they not say that you are out of your mind?" Then Paul instructs them........

@dzpisx PART 4: Finally, it might interest u to know that I came out of the Charismatic movement. I studied at a Bible college and I served as a minister in one of their churches for close to six years. Why I left the movement was because after extensive Bible study I came to the conclusion that many of the practices were unbiblical. I noticed that Scriptures were being twisted and long held traditions carried more authority then the plain reading in context of Scripture.

"conforming with generally accepted standards of respectable or moral behavior" Though verse 40 was referring to verses 31 and 33, still this is a good arguement against the Crowder movement. @Progamble Oh and a further thought on that would be that the greek "EUSCHEMONOS" (decently) means "conforming to accepted notions of propriety or good taste." Since "accepted notions of propriety" change depending on where you are, what about a church where it is accepted to get "drunk in the spirit?" Certainly it isn't right to make a drunken joke of Christianity, which this can seemingly do, but if done amongst fellow believers where this is acceptable, is it still wrong?

I think even if people were filled with the Holy Spirit like in Acts, people would say it is heresy. I support Bill Johnson and the church at Bethel. The new age movement can not have visions of heaven. The new age can not heal the sick, the new age movement can not stop storms. Mormons also have one of the most biggest organizations in competition with the Watchtower, however, they also say they are filled with the holy spirit which lead to conversions. Its not news that physiological "behavior change" and "classical conditioning" is at work in these churches, which I would include church at bethel also.

I went to a John Crowder "Glory Revolution" and a Todd Bentley event in 2007. I survived them both. At the time, I thought something was wrong with me because everyone else was falling on the floor. In Acts, the believers were PREACHING THE NAME OF JESUS to people in their own language. People could UNDERSTAND what the Christians were saying. I got healed at Bethel from nerve damage in my feet that I had for years. I can't deny my experience. The Holy Spirit is being poured out in the last days (and that is Biblical). I don't jerk or do crunches or manifest in that way but I do feel drunk and it feels good :D. There's no mention of Heidi Baker or Randy Clark in this clip, who are also friends of these churches...perhaps because they're out changing the world healing the sick, raising the dead and feeding the poor... things Jesus did.
