was in comfert in at pa pitsburgh and i was watching victorios and i herd the alarm and i turned off the tv. and my dad called the front desk and they said get out of the room. it was a small fire

one of my friends was talking about how his mom left Perkind like right before the fire started, went into tj maxx came out and was like woah!

yeah... we had all of our stuff in there.

I'm blaming that on why we lost our game.

So our hockey team went to stay at the Days Inn right around the corner.. as we left town Sunday afternoon around 5ish, we saw firetrucks pulling around it, taking out the hoses, etc.

Does anyone know what happened there??

the fire department had a transformer blow about half an hour before the fire was reported. they said in the news paper it was a power serge

the reports said that some obese plattsburgh hick was going down one of the water slides... it created too much friction and the place went up in flames

The whole backside behind the pool area seems undamaged. Strange how the whole interior of the burned part is gone, yet all the outside walls look fine.

i could see the flames going over the over pass all the way from advance auto parts, pretty crazy. not a good day to do any shopping in pburgh thats for sure

me and my husband were going to go there for lunch today. I heard about the fire but just though it was just a small something so we went to see if Perkins was open and then we saw all the smoke. It took us over a half hour to get out of Plattsburgh the traffic was so bad.
