i always tweeze wth the grain and still my skin breaks, bleed, the hair ingrow and i just end up with loads of red scabs where ive tweezed, any tips?

@xxHannahxxTobyxx are you sure you are doing it the right way? because when i tweezed for the first time i had the same problem..have you tried threading though? i found it works better for me... it's also always best to visit a professional if you are unsure :)

@beautyfiendchik77 try like a light black.. dark gray maybe? i have black hair too and i find the light black/gray looks best on my brows since i have light skin i dont want to go too dark but if yr skin is more of a darker shade yu can definately go somewhat darker (: hope that helps

Do you have any tips for if your eyebrows are a little more bushy? I love how "smooth" yours look and I can't seem to achieve a similar look. I have trimmed them by using a spooly and brushing the hair in the natural direction of growth and then using manicure scissors for the cutting, but my eyebrows still look somewhat bushy :( If you have any tips, I would appreciate it, thank you :)

I always use black eye shadow to fill in my brows, since I have light skin and dark hair. I have tried using brown but apart that I can't seem to find a dark brown that does not end with a reddish finish, I prefer myself with dark eyebrows. The problem is (here it gets tricky) I love the finish on how they look, but every time I touch them or hug someone or whatever, they super smudge! and leaves a dark mark on my skin, clothes etc. I need to fill them in 'cause they are sparse in some regions

@cutiesing3 I do mine with the hair trimmer once a week, but it will be different from person to person. It cost abou $10. And if you wax you can do it at home, but I would highly recommend that you have it done.

I don't tweeze, I wax. Tweezing takes too much time, it hurts a lot! and it makes my eyes water. Shaving them gives me stubble and it needs to be done too frequently. Waxing hurts just for a couple of minutes, it lasts about 6-8 weeks because it takes the entire hair out, it also takes out a ton of hairs at one time! I cut the waxing strips into the shape I want, then I tweeze the few remaining hairs I didn't get while waxing.

Hey! It's not supposed to be the middle of the pupil where the arch is supposed to be.. When you're looking straight ahead make a line with a pencil- from the outer corner of your nose- up to the coulouredy part of the eye that's closest to the outer corner. Then you get aperfect arch :D

@Prissie28, I kindly disagree. It's hard to say that clean, sculpted eyebrows don't look good on people. Even on men. Nicley shaped and clean eyebrows shows confidence and self respect. To me anyway. And they just look nicer. Besides, Petrilude keeps his eyebrows masculine even though theyre sculpted.

shaving is really rough on anyones skin, it can cause ingrown hairs etc, especially on your face! the skin on your face is the most delicate. i would be really surprised if your skin is reacting well to shaving your eyebrows... but hey whatever you want to do is up to you lol...

@becstination People who are prone to ingrown hairs will suffer from them no matter if they shave or not. Its the way the hair grows not just the way it is cut. Secondly, a person's skin react differently to different methods. These vague... meaningless comments always get under my skin. Everyone should try anything and everything until they find what works well for them. Don't listen to one person's experience (or what they've read somewhere). It may not be the same for you ^.^

the color you use for reference is which ever color on you your head that is the darkest...:) if you're very blonde it's usually like a beigy brown...
