You'd think the vocal issue would be pretty common-sense for some but I guess not. People need to understand that with his vocal range, you can't growl everything out for over two decades. That's why he sings conservatively at some shows and will push harder at others. Going crazy at every show is a quick way to blow your voice out a la Hetfield. Bad enough it happened to one band, if it happened to Mustaine as well? I'd be really fuckin pissed and disappointed lol

Watch the new DVD, or any recent live footage and you'll see that his vocals are almost always spot on. Just cos Rude Awakening wasn't great doesn't mean he never sounds good. His playing was also sloppy in this vid, which is what made me suspect he might have been really ill. For example, I saw Megadeth play an awesome show in Glasgow last year but met Dave afterwards and he was pretty sick but he still nailed it on stage. For him to suck at vocals AND playing, he must have been near death :P
