I've just had a rare family Tartan woven by D.C Dalgliesh - an 8 yard, 16 oz - it has now been made into a kilt for me in Australia. I am very proud to have this family tartan finally produced, as there is nowhere else in the world who could produce it other than Dalgliesh. I am also very happy that they were saved from closing recently, the Scottish government ought to ensure that they never run the risk of vanishing - they are a national treasure!

Thank you Nick from a descendant of Clan Adam and Clan Cunningham - D.C are vitally important to the culture and tradition of Scotland!

Very informative I have often wondered just how they were actually put together. Nice, thank you for posting this.

Bravo! Can't believe that anyone would want imported tartan...if it isn't made in Scotland, it just isn't the same.
