He was NEVER poor. His father was a wealthy lawyer and he went to a private prep school.

Many of the ultra rich got that way using ruthless, unethical and often illegal means to obtain their wealth. Many of them have killed literally millions and caused the suffering of billions more on their way to extreme wealth and power. Im referring to the owners of companies like Dow Chemical, Exxon, Coca Cola and other such huge corporations that pollute and murder their way to profit and power.

The ugly fact of unregulated capitalism is that not only do companies have to compete for markets, not only do they have to compete for consumers, but they also must compete for shareholders. Therefore, each company has to make more profit then the next or the shareholders will go elsewhere. Profit becomes the end all and be all of a companys survival. When they can increase their profits by no other means they turn to suppression of unions and decreasing the wages of the workers.

Because of deregulation we have reached a crisis of capitalism. Its sort of like a Ponzi scheme. We are watching capitalism in its death throes as it creates wars that we pay for to control the wealth, markets and labor of other countries. We are watching the loss of jobs and ability to earn a living wage for millions of American workers. The American dream is dying in agony.

in today's society it's not necessarily the lower class being deprived its mainly the middle class but the cause for that is primarily on credit card debt, neoliberalism, and top executives taking bigger cuts. And for those people who you say that they've been handed their wealth, open opportunities for the rich is in nature because it creates the stratified society they can't be avoided in America. That stratified society is driven by capital.

Our founding fathers recognized that power corrupts and attempted to create a government with a balance of powers. They seemed to overlook the power of wealth, maybe due to the fact that the only participants were wealthy. We need to find a way to balance the power and wealth along with rewarding companies and corporations that contribute to the well-being of society rather than its destruction.

There is no equal balance in this society because America's economic society relies on capitalism in it's purest form. What better place to make money than America. give me that.
