@911STUDSTER NO GAME USES 8GB OF RAM. 8GB of RAM is a total waste unless you're folding, rendering, encoding etc.

An i7/i5 processor makes a MASSIVE difference in games like BFBC2, ARMA2 and in many other multi-threaded applications.

Overall an i7/i5 is a FAR better choice than 8GB of RAM. Next time don't talk unless you actually know what you're talking about.

The only difference with the m11x and the other laptops is that the m11x has a small screen and gets 7 to 6 hours battery, and everything gets 3hours tops. Your choice should depend on how much you travel and stay away from outlets.
