@LiloPelakai Marilyn was a wonderful person!! .. a natural beauty with very high IQ. She can not be easily copied.... she had a unique way about her. I fell in love with her when i was around 8 years old, she looked like a angel!!, never vulgur. She was classy!!! She had a rough life but managed to smile! Peace
I find some of these crude comments discusting. They should be deleted! Marilyn is lovely as she always was, so pretty as a young girl, already a natural model with star quaility. Marilyn and Jayne Mansfield looked similar as young women, as well as adult stars, tho Marilyn was always the more beautiful.
Wow. I have never heard of nor seen this film before. Great find. I see Norma Jean was very camera conscious even then. The others mostly do not interact with her. Probably some of the women are jealous and the husbands know not to be caught looking her way! You can see the coppery glint in Norma/Marilyn's hair...Such a beauty.
So sad. This woman was beautiful inside and out. Messed up? Yes. But a beautiful soul by all her were lucky to have known her. What a bunch of losers some of you are.
@LiloPelakai ?? She is probably 15 or 16 here, and does not need a girdle she is very thin. She naturally had copper colored hair, not blond. She might have had a slight nose thinning later but she was already very beautiful. She often had no tan at all - it was not in fashion in the 1950s.
@LiloPelakai I've read a lot of diverse comments here and elsewhere about MM, but not about her varying degrees of ugliness. I believe that taken individually, her features were not particularly beautiful, but the total look of her was extraordinarily beautiful. And I think a lot of the remarks about plastic surgery are not fact-based. Surgery was more rare then, and look at all the surgery now... it's often obvious, botched.
@LiloPelakai Not true at all. Many dark brunettes were towheads as a child (white-blond hair) and their skin color is the same, so they do indeed have the complexion sometimes more than honey-blonds, to pull off very blond hair colors. Also she was naturally a redhead in a way - coppery color hair. Her mother had red hair.
Call me a fan who's always learning something new about the Marilyn I didn't know. Here and in several links I'm struck by the amount of "home footage" of teenaged Norma Jean. It's easy to understand in hindsight how the camera loved her, but strictly speaking, wasn't the amount and quality of film unusual for a working-class beauty? Or, was she already on Hollywood's radar in some way?
i don't think there;s going to be another like her in a long time.. it wasn't only her face and body, it was the way she moved, talked and walked. i think queen cleopatra was considered the most beautiful woman in the world despite being really ugly because of that same attitude. stars these days try so hard to act the same way.. megan fox and lindsay lohan will never be that beautiful.
@shcnoozlebop Yeah, it's so hard to recreate untalented, selfish, homewrecking attention whores who cake themselves with makeup and surgery and dress slutty to get attention. She was a HORRIBLE person and it's ridiculously EASY to copy her.
@LiloPelakai You didn't personally know Marilyn, so your claim that she was a horrible person is ridiculous, especially when people who actually did know her have said very positive things in biographies. What is inarguably true, however, is that you go to every Marilyn video to post stupid, ignorant, hateful comments about her. Says a shitload about YOU and your pathetic use of your time.
@LiloPelakai Lol don't you think the studios would have if they could, if it was "so easy to copy her?" No it wasn't easy. They shipped in all sorts of curvy blonds, but no one captured public attention and love and admiration as Marilyn did.
@shcnoozlebop I agree with you. instead of them trying to be marilyn or like her, why dont they create thier own alter selves...it would be ok, its hollywood.

People stop pretending you know marilyn. You don't know if she was
messed up or if it was just set up to look that way. Don't believe everything you hear or read seriously. Probably the same people who read magazines

One forgets that she wasn't a natural blond. Really interesting.

@GiantPetRat She was a natural blonde as a child. Her hair darkened to reddish brown by the time she was a teenager.

wow, amazing what 30 gallons of makeup, hair dye, weight gain, a nose job, plastic surgery, girdles, and a tan will do. :\

@defundthewar she is less ugly as a brunette obviously... dark brunettes cant pull off blonde or red hair. that's color analysis.
