12V are on the way out. My Cummins CR powered truck runs 10.01 @ 150 mph, fast enough to win the NHRDA Division 1 points champion and set a new MPH record to take it away from Stucky 12V racing. Just look for Harbour City Diesel on you tube for the vid.
So have you raced Jimmy smith? or any of the boys from the south? i dont doubt your truck hauls ass and i like it but the old 12v is still the king. I talked with dan schied and other ppl in the diesel world and they all say the same thing that the 24v is a pain in the ass on injectors and cant with stand the horsepower beating that a 12v can. Im buying a 12v from piers for pulling not drag racing so i think thats where we have different thoughts on the engines
you can keep your dyno. i will go to gcl and dyno on a real dyno. and 12valvs still kick the shit out of common rails track and pulling you should know this. just go ask BBD
It is a DynoCom Dyno. How much power do you have in your truck? I have a 2008 Rev with the easy ride and 880 kit, they are killer machines in the mountain!
Last year i got it back from Nadp on fuel i dyno 507 to the rear wheels with just one chip the predator fuel/boost now im pushing 700 plus. but im sick and tired on the common rail so im switching it back to the 12v pump set up and getting rid of the cp3s. ya that sled just wants to climb and wont stop until you shit your pants. where do you ride?
Rent a gob nice one princess. keep driving your piece of shit 2wd ranger and i will drive my 2004.5 1 ton single axle that is running more horsepower then these guys truck and hauling my 2007 Can-Am renegade with 27 inch mudders and a stage 2 Ron woods cam and piston kit with full race exhaust and my 2008 summitx 800r with a custom fox float kit and holz front arms kit along with ceramic y-pipe to a ceramic pipe and can living the life and you will be just you a nobody.
is this your first dyno? I have been around race cars drag cars abd that the first piece of shit dyno i have ever seen where you dont load it up the hit it till peak rpms!
Well rent-a-gob I guess you don't know the differance between an inertial dyno run and a load dyno run. Do do a load dyno run during a show takes too long to set up for 50 buck you get a inertia pull.
