  • So I'm a chick w/ dreadlocks. I've had dreads twice in my life and this time I've had them in for two years. It feels like I need some change w/ my hair and found the knotty boy dreadlock remover on the internet. My dreads are down my back, do you think I will need two kits to get mine out? I love my locks, but losing them is the worst part, I will be so distraught at first but at least I wont have short hair.

  • Also, I crochet my dreads, I'm hoping that wont make it exponentially more difficult to comb out.

  • Thanks for the tips. It really worked.

  • does having dreadlocks ruin your hair?

  • Damn, you are hot!

  • you look hella better without them they just made you look dirty

  • Do you need to do it when they are wet ? or first dry them ?

  • you stole kevin bacons hair in the end

  • Wow this amazes me. :)

  • dose he only have one nipple at the start of the video

  • wow. youre dreads look EXACTLY like mine did. lol.

  • removing the dreads is impossible, this is just a video, of him MAKING the dreads, just in bakcwards...

  • @Pcerebro

no you can actually tke them out. with scissors or a knife.

  • @lafemmenaturalle rrriiiigggghhhtttt....

  • @Pcerebro and then when he made the dreads he fixed the comb?

  • @Wadde100 exactly... just like that ¬¬

  • The Take Down Removal Cream works faster and better and saves more of your hair. Plus it is for all types of hair textures and cultures

  • how long did it take you to grow your dreads in the first place?

  • shoulda kept the dreads dude.

  • how long did you have tho dreads in there tho

  • getting rid of mine after 2 years. it will feel good to actually wash my hair every day again. do you put the conditioner in after you take a bath and wash them with the shampoo?

  • what you did was a crime man

  • hahaa. your so cute:>

I think you looked hotter with the dreads though

  • This may be fine for people with not so natural thick hair , what about a person with Natural thick hair that has been dreaded for years.

  • my song was playin in the background.

    "in the morning" hmmm

    wake n bake

    .good times.

    yes

  • dear god you're a babe

  • how long did you have your dreads?

  • How long have you had your dreads,..............

I had mine for like, i think bout 4 or 5 years and im gonna take them out now, theyre up till my chest ..you think that shampoo stuff will work

  • hey i'm thinking of getting dreads, but i'm pretty sure i'm not gonna have them any longer than a year anyway, and then remove them - i really don't wanna cut my hair (I'm a girl and i think i'd look horrible w/ short hair^^...)

would you still recommend me to get dreads at all? did you cut your hair short after you took em out? was your hair really harmed after that ?

    your dreads were beautiful ;)

  • oh and are dreads kinda hard to handle, like, is washing them complicated or do they smell or something like that....?

    thank you :3

  • you can get synthetic dreads! They are fake hair put into your real hair and they look sooo real and you can have any color you want, and they are so easy to take out. Google "synthetic dreads"

  • omg you are so adorable and i actually want dreadlocks but i am kind of afraid haha. i go to a liberal arts college and i think i may stick out like a sore thumb haha. but i loved your dreads. you should have kept them

  • I think I'll just shave my head when I ever remove mine...

  • Hey, yeah send over a photo and I'll take a look. Should be alright. Will PM you contact details...

  • Feels good doesn't it? I removed mine in April as well. It took 3 days.

  • Does feel good, though much pain involved to get there!

  • @filterenvelope You really ought to have held each dread above where you were coming in order to at least reduce the pain, and I can't help but wonder if you were planning on getting a hair cut why not just cut them off and then start from scratch. Probably would have been cheaper too.

  • hey why didn't you use the Take Down Dreadlock Remover. It would have saved so much of your time?

  • Have never heard of that product, is it any good? Though I'm pretty sure any conditioner would take a similar amount of time (a long time), no matter how good.

  • how long did that take you to do?

ive had dreads for about 4 or 5 months now and am not liking how there turning out.. im gonna be removing them and then starting them over with the backcomb and crochet method..

  • It took about 8 hours, over 2 days. Yes, if you get yours redone I recommend b/c & crochet. That's how mine were done initially.

  • as you can see xD

  • how long did you have em' before you combed?

  • About one year.
