  • oh yea keep your look it's you. & please note that good hair thing is not always true.... @ meit'sall those things u said about your character, your diet (intake) &where your taking it from, water ph balanced etc& pls note those good hair plp those plp are the first 2 loose it so how good was it anyway.

  • Hey lady, well 2 comment note moisturizer is great2 4 our type of hair also. Good hair is the hair that u can do anything 2 perm/relax color straighten cut fro curl braid etc. So what is it that you do 2 your hair 2 get that type of look? plsssss reply because i???????????? think i have thesame type of hair, so get back with me because summer will be here soon i live in Detroit,Michigan (*-*)

  • I think you're beautiful! :)

  • @darkendivide Oh yeah, I also meant that say you are a bit overboard with the stores' stocking of your desired hair product.

Companies will lose money (products are mass produced, and so they must be bought in bulk). Based on that, they are not wrong to NOT carry that one product. Don't take it as a personal insult- it's just a business move on their behalf.

  • btw are you from NewYork?

  • they don't buy things based on that 1 person, they don't stock things to gather dust. they stock 2 sale.... i like that what u said, good hair is whatever empowers u! as i grew up good hair went from curls to "whatever" is on your head (sounds a lil hollow) but i think i'll say that good hair is what makes u feel good abt self, what empowers u! thanx!

  • hi shanda!what weave is that? and how many packs did you use?

  • @exxxxys...you're really naive if u think anyone of color came up with the term "ethnic" or ask why we use it. No blk person sat in a corp meeting and decided 2 call the hair products 4 blk ppl "ethnic hair care".I certainly never petitioned 2 have "my own"section! Its naive outlooks like urs that allow things like this 2 exisit bc no1 admits that our race/ethnicity is looked upon as different!Same thing in a grocery store, if I want asian/spanish foods, its in its own section!I wonder abt that 2!

  • Example: The Walgreens in my mixed neighborhood has 1/4 of one side of an aisle for "ethnic hair care".I go 20 minutes into "da hood" into a NICE shopping center...The same Walgreens chain as an ENTIRE side of an AISLE dedicated to"ethnic hair care". Im like a kid in a candy store bc they have our products!Hair grease, carefree curl, eco style gel, natural hair curl cremes, weaves, etc. I can shop at 10pm 4 that product I need at the last minute! Its all abt where u shop.I dont complain bc I get it.

  • Ur husband is right. The supply has 2 meet the demand. If u arent going 2 sell it, why stock it for the FEW "ethnic" cutomers u might have?Theres no profit in it. Its not the same 4 a white person shopping in "da hood" beauty store.Blks use VO5, panteen, Suave, etc so THEY will have no problem finding something. WE on the other hand need other styling prod whites can/dont use so we wont find them in stk .i feel ur pain.Shopping in a mixed demographic area &ur only going 2 only find the basics.

  • Good hair is hair that's taken care of with TLC!. All hair types look beautiful, just need to take care of it so it'll look good. GOOD HAIR.

  • Shanda, Honey, Keep your hair the way that it is. If that style is you, and gives you confidence, keep it. I love big hair and I have been wearing my hair big for years, before big hair was really in,I'm sure you may have too. And that's just my style, something like my trademark :), plus the nice big earrings. Keep your hair in the style that says who you are. Luv Ya' Girl!

  • She is such a swetheart, I feel an honest vibe from her :)

  • An example the macy's in my hometown area has some prety good stuff, but i visited a macy's in maryland and they had more stuff that i didn't even see in my area's macy's. It really depend on the area you live in. And If you are the only black person in said area they probably won't have stuff for you. Harsh but true. Second maybe some color or accesories.

  • i also like tHAT my hair is different than everyone elses, lol different is good

  • I LOOOVE YOUR FRO.

  • SHANDA NO EXCEPTION.. YOUR NATURAL HAIR IS CURLY KINKY NOT STRAIGHT.. I WISH BLACK WOMEN WOULD STOP EMBARRASING THEMSELVES LIKE THIS

  • I agree, but I also think if you arent willing to accept yourself for what you really are, it's a problem. Many of us BW have been taught from childhood on up that our hair isnt good enough or beautiful. Throughout life we accept this as somthing that is second nature or normal to continue to change the texture of our hair. If we continue this how are we ever going to learn to embrace our natural beauty or get others to see it for that matter?

  • hair grease is bad for your hair dumb ass..

  • @CurlyHead827 are you being serious? wow, you're ignorant.

  • why would they need to stock black hair products when firstly you are in a predominately white neighborhood; secondly the majority of black women aren't interested in taking care of their natural hair?

    its non-sensical

  • I live in Australia. And it use to be that I had to go to the end of the earth where the "immigrants" lived to get black hair care. Now there are plenty of african, and the products are easy to come by. But the mainstream store still don't carry "ethnic" products. Business is about money. Only one person wanting a product wont get the management to get off their ass.

  • I KNOW THAT THIS VIDEO IS NOW NEARLY TWO YEARS OLD BUT I'M JUST FINDING IT NOW SO HERE GOES MY COMMENT. HAVING TO GO THROUGH THE SAME ISSUE WITH FINDING HAIR CARE PRODUCTS IN MAJORITY WHITE NEIGHBORHOODS I HAVE BEEN TAKEN BACK BY THE SIZE OF THE SECTION IN THE STORES WHEN THEY DO HAVE AN ETHNIC SECTION. IS AS IF THEY GET HALF OF A SIDE OF AN ISLE IN THE STORE. I FEEL AS THOUGH IT SHOULD BE MIXED IN WITH THE OTHER PRODUCTS. ITS SEGREGATION AND DOESN'T MAKE ME COMFORTABLE TO SHOP IN THEM STORES.

  • hi, i know this off your subject...not getting the response i was hoping for so i just keep asking until someone responds. just trying to find out how black and multiracial women feel about white guys/interracial dating. this is not spam and just curious being a white guy and am very curious. any information appreciated. thank you. ps. the hair is nice.

  • I agree with the area thing..I live in a white area too..I hate that I have to drive miles..(to the black side) to get some hair grease...That is so messed up..Not to mention trying to get some makeup or skin care. Why do they do that..maybe they didn't think we were moving in..or at least hoping we weren't..lol

  • your hair is beautiful...when i want a new look ...short, straight, curly, wavy, or long....i just put a weave in it in that particular texture or style....but i love your hair . it screams DIVA

  • First off beautiful hair...i know this video is old, and this is the only vid of yours that i've watched, so i don't know what you've done with your hair, but i would braid my hair down and get a straight sew-in, straight human hair lace front wig....i hope this helps :)

  • i would say yes & no; the stores in the area in which you live are a business and they are going off of a supply and demand standard. if no one with your texture of hair doesn't walk in and ask for those products, they won't stock it. I do understand your frustration completely though because i am a black woman with natural/long hair and i can't always find what i would like, when i need it.

  • Awww I love the way you explain everything... You are so right, we have to do what makes us happy and not try to please everyone else.

  • Pomade is in the ethnic section? That's crazy! I'm caucasian and I sometimes use pomade to style my hair. And practically every hairdresser where I live uses it on their customers too. Maybe we're talking about a different product, but we call it pomade too.

  • Move out of the sticks. Problem solved.

  • Is that hair grease something only black people use?

  • I never knew hair had moral qualities!!

  • Yes, it is business, hon. If not a lot of black women live in your area and/or they are not buying pomade, than you shouldn't except your neighborhood beauty supply to carry it anymore than I could expect to find Indian remy weave in the O.C.

  • looove your fro ! do you have a tutorial on it ?? because my hair doesn't look like that lol

  • Your husband is right. Its business. Why stock up on products that only one person like yourself will come in and purchase. They would be wasting money on stock or waiting forever to profit money off of it. Its not being racist, but its using smart business sense. Now if you go to the hood areas you will find more ethnic hair products in stores because they will sell out in those areas.

  • OMG I WOULD LOVEEE TO HAVE A BIG AFRO LIKE THAT. BIG HAIR THAT STANDS UP & OUT !

ITS NOT SOMETHIN YOU CAN FAKE UNLESS YOU GEDDA WIG :/

SO YOU WORK THAT & BE PROUD GIRL :)

  • Comment removed

  • WELL REAL TALK... IF YOU MOVE TO LIVE IN A MOSTLY WHITE AREA (CAUCASION).... THEN YOUR GONNA HAVE TROUBLE FINDING SERVICES THAT CATER TO ETHNIC MINORITIES MA! LOL... I LIVED IN MOSTLY '' CAUCASION '' AREAS BEFORE... & SOMETIMES STILL TRAVEL THERE... & THATS WHY ITS NOT NICE TO BE THERE LONG TERM IF YOUR OF A '' ETHNIC '' BACKROUND :)

SO IN OTHER WORDS... IF YOU CHOOSE TO LIVE THERE THEN EXPECT TO DO LONG JOURNEYS TO FIND THINGS FOR YOUR HAIR & GOOD FOOD & STUFF LMAO

    KEEP YOUR LOOK... ! :)

  • @0fficialjapan hahaha 4 real!!!

  • @0fficialjapan I posted about this on another video as well.... I'm curious why you use the term "ethic background" for black women. I'm white, so what does that make me? I HAVE an ethnicity, I have an ethic background. I struggle with my hair as well. I wear extensions often because my hair is too fine and thin to grow long or do anything with other than straighten.

When you use terms like "ethic background" in that sense, you're only widening the gap between races.

  • Comment removed

  • im mixed but i think good hair is mostly everyhair as long as it grows really like ill admit it my hair is really nice but long wavy hair is a piece if work!

  • i wear hair grease ever since my mom put my hair in lil pig tails lol

  • Lovely.

  • personally i don't care what curl pattern your hair is, healthy hair is good hair.

If your hair has a naturally wave/curly pattern yet its damaged, i see it as bad hair

extremely kinky/tight curls yet healthy and thick is seen as good hair

    point blank

  • I like you! Your nice

  • natural ftw!

  • beautiful hair!

  • Go Natural!!! Is that your hair?

  • We have been brainwashed so much, let's go back to our roots and go natural.. Let's throw away our relaxers, texterizers, perms, etc. throw em' away..

  • GOOD HAIR : Straight,Curly,Wavey

    BAD HAIR : Kinky Textures

im just letting you guys know whats good and whats bad dont comment your oppinions on it i wont reply back

  • NATURAL

  • Just do pony tail puffs. And it looks better natural.

  • i do think that hair "greases clog you hair and stunt ur hair growth not allow ing ur hair to grow.......oil is much better i've been using olive oil for a long time and it works great now im about to go and get me some coconut oil (brand-spring valley) from walmart it smells soo good , it moisturizes, not only is it good for the hair but also the skin for stretch mark dry skin , and even acne because of its anti fungal characteristics and the best is that it is cheap for the spring valley $10!

  • I love your hair

  • I agree: just go natural. Also, move somewhere where there's more ethnic diversity so you can buy your pomade. ... And I hate that term "ethnic hair" (or "ethnic" any thing else). EVERYONE has an ethnicity LOL ... not just "minorities" ;)

  • @CheezInspector omg me too i hate that word....lol and i dont even have kinky hair ....how about we use the word "exotic" instead ; ) hehehe

  • @jaszylaz527, haha. Yeah, "ethnic hair" is a stupid term. I'm a bit of a language snob, so I must admit the word "exotic" doesn't work for me either. I don't think Black hair is any more "exotic" than other hair types. Just depends on context. Once ppl finally see Black hair as just another variation on NORMAL human hair, African hair and hair products won't produce so much fear in ppl. It will become a normal part of cosmetology training and products will be more widely available.

  • @CheezInspector lol yeaa. i was just saying if we had to use a word that one sound better...to me at least

  • Dreds!!!!

  • I am mixed and I can hardly ever find hair products for my hair. Other mixed girls think that their hair products will work but sometimes their hair is either smoother or more course than mine. My sister doesn't even have the same kind of hair as me. When I used the traditionally black hair care my hair is too greasy and the other stuff just doesn't work. It is hard to find a hair stylist too. I understand your frustration girl!

  • @7MsRae check out taren916 here on youtube shes a great guru for curly hair and mixed hair ...good luck =)

  • I love your hair! They are saying now that hair grease clogs the pores tho and that you should use a good oil instead. Just my 2cents :) But I understand what you are saying about them not having it in stock but one store did get sued bc they had an ethnic section but that was the only section of the store with security tags! In my city most hair stores are by Asian couples and I'm trying to figure out what's up with that, even walmart could have a better selection...

  • I have been natural for a long time - and my favorite products are OUIDAD - after using all every possible thing I could find to make my natural hair soft and beautiful. It's for naturally curly hair and I love it. They even carry it at Sephora now next to Carol's Daughter.

  • @yannitoob wat OUIDAD??

  • @jaszylaz527 Curl Quencher - and really I was told that most products that lock in moisture will make your hair soft. Also don't shampoo your hair every single day it rips the moisture right out.

  • I want your hair bad

Pantene is not good for my hair thou.

  • None of them had it? How terrible, how inconvenient.

See the movie, holy $@#&! That movie was a

freaking eye-opener. Forget the grease. Your hair

reflects your health. Your natural hair does anyway.

  • shanda i love ur nails and ur rings, oh and ur hair is gorgeous.

  • I love your hair. It's big hair. I want big hair. It's beautiful.

  • Shanda I know EXACTLY what you mean regarding your hunt. I live in a predominately white state. My husband is black and I'm Egyptian and we go thru the same things. Not only is it hard to find hair products out here but it is hard to find FOODS that accomodate our cultures. I get a shelf about 3 feet long in grocery stores in the "international aisle." You just feel excluded & overlooked and it's obnoxious. Re: your hair. U R beautiful any way that U wear it. India Arie: U are not ur hair!

  • I love your hair, i want my hair that way too.

  • You hit the nail on the head when you mentioned the fact that if you go straight you'ld look like everybody else and you do not want to look like everybody else. That's what God planned when he made Black people's hair the way he made it. God wanted us to have a unique curly and different look from all the straight hair races but Black people have been so dumb for centuries that they have to let Europeans dictate to them what is acceptable and not acceptable. Every race has something unique!

  • Your hair is so beautiful!

  • I think you should keep it the way it is you look stunning i meen if u wanna go natural then do go natural but i love your hair the way it is myself xx oh yes and you should ask your husband too..

  • Need a new look ? Don't make it complicated ...Go natural !

  • @TheSoundjataKeita That's what I did!! It's great!! TOOO!!

  • sistas took this film too personally ..... the good hair bad hair thing is big with white women too and yes they are into extensions and weaves too-what sistas should be angry about is why in this multi billion dollar industry of hair and hair care there are no african american distributors or suppliers of cosmetology products for hair in general-queen latifah tried to get in the game and they shut her out too....peace shanda:)

  • yup yup yup korea and koreans eat off our hair foreal and we as a people are just given them our money why we alot hair products at home we can start shuting them out mom and pop them to death

  • Excellent point .... It would go along way In showing them what real power is.... But you know this really alot deeper than hair due to our history in this country and how we got here [ and self hatred ] that's why i guess the film struck a deep chord with black women

  • Store owners stock what sells. They cater to their demographic. Don't feel bad, just stock up on your grease. Like a lot of Grocery store owners in areas where Africa-americans live don't stock up on chitterlings and stuff blacks use, so too it is with ppl of cultures that are foreign to majority Euro communities.

  • u should keep your hair how it is and just straighten ur hair every once in a while, i am relaxed and feel that natural hair is more versatile because with the way flat irons are made it can give anyone a straight look and u could still wear the curly fro when u want but if u relaxed ur hair you would be stuck so keep ur curls girl they are BEAUTIFUL!

  • YOUR HAIR IS AMAZING!! I am now natural, can't wait until my hair is that long.

  • I love your hair it looks great! I'm sure you can wear it any style and still look awesome. I feel the same way you do about hair. It's just an expression of style and what you feel like. Sometimes you just want to change it up and you should be allowed to. You're absolutely right one's personality outshines anything else. Thanks for sharing.

  • Gees girl! Ask your husband.

  • Your hair looks awesome! I just recently cut my hair, and wear it short and curly. I don't put anymore chemicals in my hair b/c i want to keep it natural, When my hair grows to be your length again, I want to keep it natural like yours!

  • i never knew that was your hair...i always thought it was a chaka khan wig... i luv it! au natural! =)

  • They would be losing money in order to keep products and restock and discard if no one is buying it. Business wise it is not a wise decision for a predominately white area to sell many or any African American products because they will more than likely lose more money than they receive.

And you should straighten your hair out if you want change. Don't relax it, that's too permanent. What if you don't like it? if you don't like it you can always wash it out. I too am a natural.

  • i normally do my little twist out (which is similar to that style) and then after a 3 days to a week i wash and condition it and wear it straight...and then a couple days i'll braid it up and when im tired of that i do my twis out again....i agree with you i love being different and i love doing different things with my hair...and when i go straight i look pretty...i look pretty anything i do..but the twist out i feel more comfortable because it reflects me and my personality..carefree

  • i think good hair is wen u mAINTAIN ur hair the right way n have it done nicely, no matter the race!

  • good blog! im hispanic married to a blk man n have 2 daughters..ive always loved african american womens hair..n have always said i wanted my kids to have hair like their dad! especially if its a boy! of course i dont really know how to do their hair..until i had my friend who was blk tell me i dont use a regular brush like i do on my hair, she ended up buyin me an afro comb n lotion for their hair..now its so much easier...but still need advice.LOL

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE your hair! My personal opinion is that straight hair is boring... yes if you do go straight you will look like everybody else! Keep doing what you do! If you want a new look, just try a new natural style ;-) that's my two cents! lol.

    -Rochelle.

  • Love your hair haha and I love your hot comb the one that your grandma really put on the kitchen stove to make it hot yeah girl I"m in college where I go to school there are not a lot of black people so I have a hard time finding hair care products I have to wait till I go 50 miles back home to get stuff for my hair so I know how you feel girl!! :-)

  • Don't change a damn thing!

  • damn they hould cary stuuff i got naturally occuring shit that makes me different and bitches seeling dat dmn whit shit pantene but i gotta buy all my shit online natural dats the best your hair is beautifull and dont go straight straight hair dont look good then after u go straight youll dye your hair blodei accidentally cut my hair really bad cut so i let it grow out and now i have my signature style . i love how u believe in realist beauty

  • do what you want mayb u could do twists, braids, wavy or big curls with the str8 hair so it looks more voloumous

  • I know what you mean about stores not carrying black hair products. I am at college in a town that is predominantly white. There was 4000 freshmen this year and only 300 black freshmen. My friends and I went to Walgreens out here and they had ONE ROW of black hair care stuff. I'm from Memphis and our Walgreens have 70/30 white/black hair care stuff. We had to catch the bus really far just to find a beauty suppy store (Asian owned) with all black hair products. It's just messed up to me.

  • It's okay to do different things with it but don't do those thinks because you don't like or love what you already have.

  • I love the way your hair looks! It is very distinctive. That's what I love about it. I think it's okay to try different things sometimes but it doesn't mean you have to give up that look. I didn't know that wasn't your hair. I thought you were a natural. Good hair is healthy hair. I feel that your character matters also but I think we should love ourselves and that includes our natural hair.

  • miles to find hair grease? Damn....come to east oakland the asians got enough to fill a uhaul truck.

  • YOUR HAIR!~

  • Your hair is gorgeous...you look beautiful girl!

  • your hair is so big! It's amazing!

  • straighten it ur beautiful so natural or staright doesnt matter u still look like nia long

  • Ebay.

  • wow your rings are awesome!

    dammmm are they real?

  • the style now is straight like banging across your eyes and on the side because it looks good, that's why ithey don't have grease.

  • I wish I could go natural so bad but I have been listening to the haters and holding back. Every guy I've dated says it's nasty but then I recently had a classmate of mine say out of the blue that I would look beautiful natural so I think it's the crowd I've been around. Maybe they don't love the natural beauty black women have. I don't want to look like someone I'm really not anymore. Do you sista, do you and be glad they don't have that blue stuff lol like dejuan says. peace

  • Right on sista!

  • You're so beautiful!

    = )

  • "shanda eye luv ewe" however, the store is a consumer functioning only location. There has to be a demand for it to be available. Looks are awesome when secure people wear them. The rest of us seek acceptance by the misconceived standard of bad/good hair. I hate that even my own people didn't understand what they were doing when they made fun of their own hair. We forget how much of an effect that slavery has throughout our changing generations down the line. Eye am dredd now! -mistah-

  • I agree completely with your statement about good hair is what you feel confident wearing. I am German/Dutch so very very fair skinned with long auburn curly hair. I get a lot of compliments on it but I never felt very good about it. So I dyed it a dark dark brown. Most people didn't think it would look good with my fair skin but I love it, my boyfriend loves it and most importantly I feel sexy with it. So thank you for reminding me that how I feel about my hair is whats most important :)

  • Your hair is awesomeee

    I love it :]

  • stay the course Shanda

  • I think you would look good with loose curls as a new look.

  • I love how your hair is now, but i understand getting bored and needing a change..but i dont think you need one :)

  • You can try pin ups or.....

  • you look beautifulllllllllll

  • Shanda would make one hell of a cougar!!!

  • hey shanda, you could try rollersetting it straight and/or do a silk wrap treatment. i love your hair! what style are you going for?

  • Ms. Shanda, you are hot.

Nappy hair is divine. No perms necessary.

Let's shop where we benefit collectively.

The lasting damage of psychological enslavement continues until American Africans break ourselves free of self imposed oppression.

  • So tell me, what continent is Pakistan, Afganistan, and the Arabian peninsula on?

  • Now, about your hair, Personally I love it, I wish I could rock that look. It suits you and I think you should keep it. But if u want a different look, I was browsing through your videos and saw your hair on "THE BUBBLE BATH" video, its a little more relaxed in your curls, but it is still spicy and so you. I'm pretty sure you can rock a hat with it because it not that voluminous. You can also straighten it from time to time to switch it up a little. Whatever you choose I think you are beautiful!

  • 1st off love the show. I think you make outstanding points girl, I'm a latina with straightish wavyish hair, I don't know its retarded, lol. But my point is we also need special hair products once in a while. It's true, many of these stores are WHITE, or have only white products meaning with no "ethnic" section. I don't know why, but I think they definately should have 1 for the fact that the black and the latin community and all other so called "minorities" are now the majority in the US.

  • girl, you still use hot combs? that's awesome. you're rocking the natural & keeping it old school. i love your fro. it's like, empowerment. you can wear your fro like everyday then when you feel like wearing it straight, you could do it on different days. this is being favorited.

  • she is sooooo sexy

  • Hi Shanda

I think you should do you. I'm a natural and i think that you should wear your hair however you want. People are going to talk whether you are natural or permed

  • I hate weaves, wigs and coloring- let's all be REAL.

  • You need to go on Tyra and tell her what's up!

  • I think you should do a short layered bob look. It would look good on you, because your already so pretty.

  • I LOVE your hair the way it is. You should try some different wigs on before you pick you style & let us see some photo's for suggestions.

  • Hey I the bald girl and I lost my hair when it melted like the coke can test in GOOD HAIR from relaxer. Your hair looks great and I use old hair grease 2 and by the by women from India use coconut oil in their hair like that hair grease type of coconut oil gurl. People beside us use hair grease next time get some of that VO5 in the tube.

  • Wear your hair how YOU LIKE IT! we are only comfortable in the hair we love on us that makes us feel like we're beautiful!

you're beautiful with it like this and if you wear it straight, i'm sure you'll love that too.

    Doe

  • I love your hair :)

maybe you can try another curly look with less volume if you want a hat.

I would say keep it though :)

  • Hair is an important characteristic on females. I may have nad no problem with kinkier hair except that some women do not wash their hair very often and since I am turned on or off by the smells of the woman, an unhealthy smelly hair is a turn-off. I have smelled nice shampooed afro hair and that is very pleasant.

You would think it silly if a chinese person went to a soul food outlet and asked for Char Sue Kai Fan. I'm surprised by your position Shanda. You were very girly with this one.

  • Shanda, nobody is going to cater for the ONE person in that place. You carried yourself to that neighbourhood so you have to prepare for those kinds of situations. You have to carry your own product and yes.....you do have to drive further away to get your product. Its business. If everyone in an area has certain characteristics, why would someone cater for the one person with their own needs and requirements?

  • What movie?

  • Good Hair.

  • I love your hair

  • SHANDA DONT CHANGE A DAMN THANG....U MAKE ME WANNA GO TO NY....AND....Maybe a short lQQK?

  • You don't need a new look, you are beautiful the way you are.

  • I absolutely love ya hair. It is gorgeous to me. You wear yo hair, yo hair doesn't wear you. If you wanna change, if it makes you happy, go for it. I went natural (w/o chemicals) for a cleansing, a change, and to seperate... so do you Shanda. You r beautiful and what you choose will look good. I love it like it is

  • patrickhenrysghost :"And negroes whine every few years that they want to be called something else." LMAO

  • Wow, how gorgeous are you!!

Nah don't change your hair, your look is amazing overall! :-P

  • SHANDAAAAAAAAA i absolutely love your hair. DO NOT change it. i love love love it.

  • keep it!

  • i love your hair. i have an issue with wanting wear hats as well with my big hair, even when it was straight. i LOVE hats! as far as changin up the look. have you tried a fun hair color or braids or twists maybe? stayin with the natural look.. maybe you can connect with ppl that can help you find or create hats for big hair. :)

  • keep your hair the way it is! I looooove the natural way of it! If I could have my hair and pull it off like that i would totally totally do it. don't change your hair, i love it so much!

  • I think you should keep your hair the way it is. Actually, I thought that was YOUR hair!! LOL

  • i have learned good hair is healthy hair. leave your hair alone or switch a weave and go right back. what about the wet and wavy/curly? i love your hair as is. yes people do need to stock up on grease. shoot.

  • Hi Ms. Shanda I don't know why our people feel the need to move into a area where we aren't welcome and believe me my area aint to please of them either, its better to live in a mix area thats where I live that way the area has a variety of stuff. and you can go online and order what you need. I just don't feel comfortable living somewhere I'm not wanted. I wouldnt put in my store stuff that just gonna sit on the shelf, stores dont do that they sell stuff thats gonna move.

  • UM WHY ARE YOU WATCHING THIS? Why don't you watch that racist garbage the KKK puts out and make yourself feel better! Your racist insults are old and tired get some new ones! I don't want to move in your neighborhood...I'm too intelligent to move into your trailer park.

  • I don't live in a trailer park. I live in a mud hut in Africa.

  • YOU'RE A DAMN LIE! Racist people either live in trailer parks or in the woods somewhere making babies with their cousins. You're not the exception and another thing black people don't want white people to "bend over backwards" we just want to be treated fairly. That is not too much to ask. Do some black people use the race card too much?....SURE some of them get on my fucking nerves with using race all the time. But they doesn't give you the excuse to call us ALL "coons".

  • Actually, humans that dislike negroes the most are those that have had to live around them and deal with their violent and uncivilized ways.

People in the suburbs and rural areas usually only get their opinions of blacks from watching the "WB".

  • "Negroes"? What centry are you from? That makes you sound sooo dumb its not even funny. Thats like me calling an Asian person an "oriental"! OH so you think just because you've been around a few black people you know them all? GIVE ME A BREAK. This white girl said something racist to me so I should hate you because she was stupid?! YOUR NO BETTER THAN THE WHITES WHO GET THEIR INFO ABOUT BLACKS FROM TV! Your the kind of racist who smile in peoples face but like to call people "coons" at home.

  • Imagine that. I have manners, and don't chimp out in public, and can control myself.

Orientals are from the orient. Asians could be arabs or pakistanis.

And negroes whine every few years that they want to be called something else.

  • OH your a racist with MANNERS! That make you sooo much better than a Klan member. WRONG Your just as bad if not worse then a Klansmen because your FAKE.You lie in public and behind closed doors your racist. "Oriental " is still considered racist its mean to call anyone of Asain descent. NO your wrong most black folks either want to be called African American or Black. Most of us are fine with black. Most white people whine about not having a WET or NAAWP.IF YOU WANT ONE SO BAD MAKE ONE!

  • Your hot, and love the hair.

  • Shanda your hair is supafly. I think that you could rock a straight look for the winter and then go back to your signature look. You are fabulous!!!

  • GOOD HAIR IS HEALTHY HAIR. a lot of black women have relaxers and their hair is damaged and they dont even know it. if they just grew it out it would look so so so much better and healthy.
