  • IIHS does not use stars to rate tests. GOOD, FAIR, MARGINAL, POOR. I don't know how this recieved a 4 "star" rating.

  • He probably meant the US govt. testing agency - NHTSA. They rate with stars. But who cares in what you rate? Kia is crap.

  • I mean that the video description states that this is an IIHS test, it is. The 4 star rating is BS, it may have recieved a 4 star NHTSA, but not from the IIHS. I agree Kia is crap to the nth degree.

  • actually if you read my profile my video details are be upgrade one by one so you would see details that looks wrong... I actually use the result from EuroNcap on this but as you see the IIHS detail is up now. So all IIHS videos and EuroNcap videos would have their respectable detail by mid April

  • Kia is crap? Ha. Better than most. Better than Honda, much less Toyota.

  • everyone has their own opinion, but you are really wrong on that one dude

and as for ur user name - why would u be defending kia?

  • I'm wrong?!?! Look at Consumer Reports (I don't usually trust them, as they have a hate for anything that's not Honda, Toyota, or Subaru) and JD Power. Kia has excellent reliability ratings. About my username, Ford is my favorite, but I can like other brands, can't I?

  • yeah, look at jd powers and cr - they all say that honda and toyota are good. besides, ford could file for bankruptcy within a few months roflmao

  • And I HIGHLY doubt that they will file for bankruptcy. If they did, it sure wouldn't be something to laugh about.

  • i would laugh rofl

    well, we'll see

  • @alexkvaskov NO KIA IS ONE OF BEST BRANDS IN THE WORLD, JUST LOOK AT CONSUMER REPORTS...

  • @kingeddy137 Well sure, but I would first like to know if CR is credible enough. I'm not saying they're biased, as the Detroit Big 3 have made some proper rubbish over the years, but it is utter BS to say every single Honda and Toyota of the past 7-8 years has been perfectly reliable. Generally, I would trust a Honda or Toyota more than GM and waaay more than Chrysler, but this doesn't give CR the right to sing psalms about them

  • @alexkvaskov of course, we cannot fully trust everything we see, well as in my family we own several cars, 1994 grand cherokee, 06 sportage v6, 06 5 series, 02 buick regal, 07 rio, and they're all great... but saying that kia is crap is not appropriate, we have 2 Kias that are wonderful, the sportage has 103kmiles and the rio 82kmiles, + my uncle's rio has 190+kmiles with no problems, they were in the 90s? yeah maybe.. but the new cars are great, loaded, and have wonderful value and warranty...

  • @kingeddy137 Well if I had to choose, I actually wouldn't mind a Hyundai - they're better value for money than Honda (and better quality than Toyota at times)

Though they're the same company now, I have grown to respect Hyundai more

  • @alexkvaskov maybe, i personally don't like hyundai a lot, i don't know why :\ yeah i know they're the same but i prefer Kia because it took them so little time to get where other automakers have been struggling for a hundred years and more, so i respect and appreciate Kias a lot... i like Kias, Sebring, CTS, Cruze, Rendez-vous and Enclave... and i usually dislike other vehicles..

  • @fordforme If you want good value for money, look at Hyundai or Suzuki
