  • I am selling two Hamers in mint shape, A Studio custom lefty with quilt and a Special with Mape top both with the Cherry burst finish. Contact me for details

  • @MaxGuitarsMN . Why would you ever want to sell a work of art?

  • nice to know how they're made!Hamer is one of Gibsons enemies...it's a shame it's not very popular in Europe.

  • @2SMGanG i'm from germany and just ordered a monaco elite in tobacco sunburst...

damn I cant wait until i receive it!

  • @enderep12 wow that's a really nice guitar...It sounds great and the design, well...It's an Hamer,so the design is awesome!

In Portugal there's a store that has dozens of hamer guitars.I feel lucky...it's the only music store i know that has Hamer guitars.

    treat that guitar nicelly =)

  • @2SMGanG yeah, there are only a few stores in germany too!

i ordered the guitar via internet because the store is too far away from where I live (official hamer dealer though)... Risky because I normally don't buy instruments without testing them beforehand, but I guess Hamer delivers the quality!

Should receive the order confirmation tomorrow :)

    Still can't wait =)

  • @enderep12 The worst is the waiting time. i would go nuts =P

In Portugal it's very risky to order on-line...Some products arrive their destiny damaged. We have careless peole managing this type of products.Last year i was going to order a B.C. Rich but i changed my mind when i read the other users opinions...

Germany is more advanced than Portugal. You should have no problems =)

  • @2SMGanG yeah, I haven't received the confirmation mail yet... I'm already beginning to go nuts :D

Here in Germany it's not very risky to order online... But I normally just don't like to order instruments without playing them beforehand...

Worst thing is: as it is a custom order it'll take a long while :D It'll be worth it =)

    greets

  • wow. the genuine craftsmanship that goes into these guitars is simply amazing. just got a Talladega USA $3,400. i look at it and just think of how much work went into it. and it has the sustain block bridge. so it does indeed sing

  • 4.35... what kind a laquer do they use?? can someone help me with that please??

  • My Hamer USA FM special's finish started peeling away along the fingerboard like a big potato chip. I had to get it refinished. I've seen others do this too.

  • hamers are simply perfect, lol

  • I just love the wizard 2's... they are perfect..

  • ah is it custom usa ones that are pretty expensive? standard sunburst archtops are pretty cheep i got the Black SAQT with the mother of pearl around the edge and it was only £280 selling at £350, and the quality is amazing especially with the price. havnt played anything of similar price that even comes close to it.

  • how is this spam?

  • spam gives me gas, which is ok with me. but my wife doesnt

like the dutch oven that i give her at night.

  • I worked for Hamer for about 7 years before they sold out to Kaman and moved from chicago to Conneticut.Yeah they make great guitars,i have a few myself but to pricey these days, wouldnt want to play them for that much deniro.Hey Jol move back to chicago man.

  • Hey whoabob. I have a hamer xt satf blk transparent guitar. Could you tell me from your experience if the satf is any different from the usa modal? Obviously craftsmanship and the usa genuine name, but as far as materials? I switched out the tuners to planet wave self trimming and put in seymour Duncan sh-2 neck and jb-4 and sounds incredible through my berhinger gmx212. Is there really a huge difference between my xt with upgrades and usa modals?

  • I not to familiar with the export models, but Seymours always sound great.Alot of the USA hamers have glue in necks and they always sound better.

  • you play a hamer through a behringer

    lol

    your gay

  • Yea moron there is something called an MXR 10 band eq that improves the behringer 10 times over. It takes away "blanket Effect" something even high end Marshalls or any top amp has. And you might want to pay attention to what I wrote. I said I play a hamer XT a mid level line of Hamer. NOT THE BEST cause I am semi pro. What the fuck do you play fuckn Line 6? The behringer actually sounds pro line through good pickups and an eq so jokes on you.

  • but hands do cramp playing a thin neck. well when you spend that much thats when guitars raise in price rather than depreciate and they do it, fast. youre looking on average for a custom guitar like that around £500-£1000 in about 10-15 years. obviously unknown if in the future hamer is top make to be seen with.

  • im drooling, id love to play a hamer im gonna see that i get one

  • WTF.I play My ESP M-2 deluxe for hours and my hands dont cramp. All my guitars have D shaped, thin neck i never have problems.

  • well youre special then. be happy!

  • Love my Monaco Elite, and as far as Hamers go, check out Russ Petit, he rocks em hard

  • NICE SERIES THANX

  • Nice guitars and all but "mass production can't do this or that". I agree and all but they only had to tell us a couple of times not 300.

  • Are all custom hamer guitars around $6000.

  • Yes they are expensive but they are good quality

  • wonderful series of videos, thanks a lot

  • nice to know. but i'll like to see how jacksons are better...
