Yes there is. if you are going to fly to the event it would be helpful to have an email from you saying when you plan to arrive. We can plan to have nothing in the air at that time.
We do also monitor the radio transmissions and will here you if you use your radio.
And of course Seeing as how we are airplane enthusiasts we like to watch some one fly in and land! we will ask that you park your plane over by the hanger after landing.
I'm on the planing committee for the Oklahoma Dust Bowl Fly In, and I just want to thank HobbyKing for their support and involvement to Multiple sclerosis, and the ODB Fly In.
This could possibly be the biggest R/C event in the mid-west. I know of no other event where there is every form of R/C aircraft welcome. From electric, glow , gas, helicopters, multi rotor, turbine, indoor, and night flying.
@Rocketryman This started out in 2009 as two Air Force guys with no RC flying field in Altus, a gentleman in Holdenville Ok with a flying field but no one to fly with, a couple of folks from Tulsa that wanted a road trip, and a town that welcomed us with open arms and helped us raise a little over a $1000 for that 1st year that we donated to the MS society. Year 2 was even bigger. This year should be over the top thanks to HK and other sponsors!.

Because they are joining us in our existing event. And we already have a great location and cooperation with the city and airport management.
Tons of room and easy to get to. And the site is free for our use.
