  • why are you doing karate punches. lol.

  • This is great conditioning but you don't need a wall bag when practicing techniquie. Try with a mirror. And a bit of constructive criticism, I noticed in the begining that your jab is faster and more accurate when not followed by a right cross because you tend to lean into the cross before actually finishing the jab. And keep your left higher when hitting with your right. Keep up the good work.

  • @alzabhoy thanks mate. nothing was just woolen gloves to protect my already bruised knuckles lol.

  • Wow. that is how I broke my hand. lol. It is better now, but still. It just gave me memories. Keep practicing.

  • make sure your using wood lock or zheng gu shui its the only good dit dar you can get in england, plus if you want some advice start putting it on your elbows, you might thank me for that some day! but keep training nice use of the wall bag

  • nice vid, are you using hand wrap for this ?!

  • Whats the filling?

  • hgi siss, thanks for your comment. my bag is filledto bursting with dried whole peas. you can get them in you supermarket and/or health store.

  • im defo gonner need some of this dit dow jow but dus it actualy work cos my hands are fucked and my wrists do u think im hitting the wall bag 2 hard cos my wrists are preety damaged from the impact . im considering using boxing wrps but then my knuckles wont get conditioned or wil they?

  • alright crafty! wat you need to do is build up to it. i surgest you use wrapps to start with. as your hands, wrist and forearms will get used to the impact. when using barekunuckles use dit da jow/tigerbalm before and after a session and also massage between your knuckles too! ill have another look at your vid now man

  • You can use sand in a bucket to start with. This will slowly toughen the hands. fill the bucket with sand and start punching into it. boxing wraps are good to start with.

  • @CRAZYCRAFTY Yes, dit da jow actually works and it will do woNders on your hands. And if they're as bad as you say they are then your hands really need it. A friend of mine breaks cinderblocks with her feet and I noticed right away how bad her feet were bruised. Told her to get some dit da jow in china town and now her feet are perfectly ok. It might help wrists but I'm not sure. I know it prevents bruising, muscle damage and done properly will prevent you from hand damage and arthritis.

  • when i was little that was how i trained becuz i was poor i used those really rough bags that used to fill up rice and i would put in some thick sand and i would nail it to the wall to hit the bag

about 35-40 years ago this was how i practiced

    sry for the misunderstanding

  • no probs. how did you find it?

  • becuz i use to live in another place the rice bags weren't hard to find and the bags were real big ( they're so big u can fit a person in it )

  • me too

  • ? :)

  • nah mate its all shit wing chun's the best

  • you saying waht i do is shit OR that everything is shit compared to WC? i respect hwo people prefer one style to another. but ALL styles have there weak points. its imperative that you cross train

  • this is ur best vid mate. I like how u bring the jab straight back to the chin each time! In a few of the others (granted u were prob concentrating on speed) u leave the jab out there just a little. Not often, but its not a good habit to get in2. Only being constructive, i think you have talent. If ur eva in south of england and need sparring/padwork?

  • thanks man. i think that all hits should have a snap to them. was always taught to touch your cheek when it comes back. majority of the time it happens. to be honest the jab thing aint an issue. working the bag its ok to leave it for the slightest of seconds. but in spoarring i think yyou should use the jab like a machine gun. always firing it out. hope to get some sparring vids out soon. thanks for your comment. peace.

  • bro thats nice lol

i used to do fukin splashing hands kung fu lol

and beleive me wen i say tht trainen is shit hard lol

and now i do kickboxing/muay thai bro

so bro u wanna make it big

and wer abouts u from im form manchester in uk

keep up the good training peace

  • yeah slpashing hands trianing is tuff. high speed reps and all. but itsa ll fun. were you do it? was it with chris lomax or a place in romley? romley is were i go. im in st helens, work in manc, from bolton originally. make it big? to be honest i only dip into comp to see what i got against peeps who are higher in level then me. but then i suprise myself as im higher then i think. always play it down :) i was going to go in to mma proper but was talked out of it. have find a good team!!!

  • wat techniques u done

meaning fighting and how long for bro

    good vid though

  • hi zedda! techniques? you mean style? well for the stand up boxing, muay tahi, JKD/kali silat. currently being taught splashing hands kung fu. for the ground work judo and submission wrstling. im heavy beliver of being a rounded fighter. how long? as in training? i tried my hand a karate when was about 8 but didnt understand it. so i'd say 13 when stared judo. so 12 years been training in martial arts. fighting? ive competed but i dip in and out to test my self., won a kickboxing belt bout

  • 2.5-3 years back. thats the last time i competed in anything. but are you refering to a street fight? last one i had was about 4 month back in july. the street and the ring are totally seperate. but one can help the other. to be honest one should avoid fighting at all cost be if you cant then you have to go all out! lol tap back. thanks for askin

  • Take the gloves off, sissyboy XD Just kidding. Just wondering what you're using in the wallbag, it looks pretty solid and doesn't seem to need rearranging at all. I have sand/gravel mix in mine and I need to shake it now and then coz it bunches up to a solid mass and isn't ideal to smack.

  • lol i had skin off my knuckles that week i filmed them. so i had wool gloves one. just wool fingerless gloves. i use dit da jow though. the bag is filled solid with whole dried peas. your hitting power increases dramatically.

  • I'll look out for them

  • Good work ,good mechanics and technique.

Keep the chin covered at all times.Easy to say from here though.Good stufff

  • well this is just getting the hits and techinque down for the srtikes. as you can see the shoulders are up and guard is in use. but covering up wasn't specifically being workied on in the vids. sorting out some sparring vids presently so that will show further defensive points. glad you liked ;)

  • Where can i get this item?

  • Nice. Good hip and core and rotation. I assume your pivoting on those wicked body shots. Way to train technique to many ppl think they can just throw haymakers all day. Nice quick jab. it looks like your putting it all together. Good Job.

  • thanks for the comment mate. been wondering what you wouold think. yeh its all hip rotation and twisting on the balls of the feet to engage body machanics as much as poss. yeah i like to train all the shots and then throw em together in combos hittin highs and lows. mixin them up. true alot of ppl think "i can punch" and the reality is they cant. no snap, body machanics, speed, power and technique.

  • lol. Thats exactly what i used to think. "i can punch". Then lyte burly showed me i dont know what the fuck iam doing lol. I know better now. You defintely know what your doing, you said it all,"snap, body mechanics, power and technique". When all that is working synergisticlly i feel sorry for whoever gets hit by you.

  • Start to condition your Arms and Legs with a Baseball bat. Start off Slow, hitting up and down your legs and arms with bat. "Watch out for the inner arm" because of nerves under the arm. In 6 months you are a Total Weapon. Keep Punching my friend.

    Renshi

  • thanks M.ren. yeah i been doing the outer fore arm on the wall bag with added hip twist. plus the two man forearm bang. you mentioned in a prev post re the bricks moving. they actually are! the bricks behind the bottom section are becoming loose. i'll work my legs. i used to have good shins couple years back as was big in my muay thai training but let it slip. so happy you like the vids. always pushing the limits! i want to hit so will break bone. think am close

  • nice. gonna have to make one of those. sand? layerd cloth stuffing?

  • canvas wall bag filled to bursting with hard dried whole peas. plus the wall behind it lol. which i've actually started to move the bricks! you can get mass power in you strikes by using these mate. hope you like
