I kind of do not see any culture genocide in tibet. the truth is modernization replaces old cultures. I am sure that if a tibetant woman get her hands on a dryer and washer, she would definitely not return to the traditional way of washing clothes in the icey cold water with her hands. tradtions are designed to be replace by new ones. tapes replaced by cds and cds eventually replaced by mp3s, but the tapemakers would not cry bloody culture extinction. grow up people

@xarlott2007 The Chinese script is only pronounciation. The chinese words make no sense. With this text chinese people also can sing this! Beaucse I also know the Hanzi-characters. and don`t speak tibetian language it is also for me helpful, what kind of tibetian words are in the text.

So many Tibet music/songs can be found on youtube. Some are listed by Chinese, and some are even listed by exiled Tibetan.

However, ironically, all these Tibet music/songs are made by Chinese record companies (as shown on the videos).

Well, Dalai claimed there is a "culture genocide" in Tibet. I must say, this should be the worst "culture genocide" I ever heard about.

If you are trying to say Mongilian are beasts, you are completely wrong.

I lived in Outer Mongolia for 13 years and my experience shows that they are few of the best people in the world...pure and caring, and very intelligent. What is more, they are good looking and very tall for an Asian. Most men are nearly 6 feet and their women are slim and graceful. No way that they are beasts.

No they did not. Inner Mongolia is sugjugated by China just as we are. Outer Mongolia was a socialist country from 1924 until 1990. Thus, when China invaded us (the 1950's) and during the period that Tibetans fleed Tibet en masse, Outer Mongolia was in a difficult situatio themselves...Stalin's purge and the Soviet domination and all that...

No, that is Chinese. In some parts of Tibet, Tibetan have lost their facility in our language and have to rely on Chinese, although the song in spoken Tibetan. It could also be an effort to reach out to the Tibetans who can only read Chinese.
