Apart from the fact that there's male/female harmonies I'd love to hear how else this song sounds anything like prefab sprout, in musicological or laymens terms.

I love the Sprouts and quite like Captain, but as a songwriter, I can say there's very little compositional similarity (Paddy writes longer melody lines, tends to use more obscure chords and shifts through keys throughout the song). The octaved vocals and maybe the keyboard line, but that's about it.

Still, it's a nice 80s-style little tune.
