Yes you're right sdean, Formby had a massive influence on the Beatles. In fact George Harrison in his latter years carried the ukelele everywhere he went, it was a favourite of his, he was a big Formby fan.
Great to see! Funny that the first time I see him perform was his last performance. Being a ukulele fan and very familiar with the Beatles, it's nice to see one of their influences.
