@HooligannSTR the previous one is really good, when i started i started with that one, its got the black cover while this is the white covered one. the names escape me at the moment sorry lol. this one has better operatic vocals but the previous is more eerie and atmospheric, too me anyway, both albums rule immensely.

All this stuff about the term gothic. I think that the term can be used as a descriptive. In fact, it is used to describe many things. For example, Tim Burton's work is usually labeled Gothic. This does not make it wrong to use. The only reason I would ever call something by a name is for the sole purpose of reference. I think labels are a waste of time as nothing really ever falls 100% under any category.

Especially this. It is beautiful and elegant and powerful. I give this album a 10/10

That's a really really stupid point to make. That's all I need to say. This is goth, nothing is 'just goth'. Except the actual goths who arn't anything to do with the modern conception. This is as contemporary goth as you can get. It's low, sad, powerful, poetic and beautiful with a tragic melody.

It IS goth. Especially if you're using the word goth as a describing words. Metal isn't ever really gothic, it's just sported that name because no one can think of anything else. When I grew up and I am a (real goth), it was mixed in a bit with the old punk scene, not being the same as everyone else, loathing the idea of being happy even when things are shit everywhere, and understanding how painful things can be for people. tragic, gothdom. twas beautiful and deep.
