Good job. My wife and I attended the Wisconsin Madison protests in Wisconsin and we followed in amazement the escalating protests in the fall. I am older now and am sad that the world has come to this. But it is to be expected as the self-righteous super rich oligarchies keep concentrating the wealth in a political economic system that does work fairly. I hope changes occur to quiet 2012, but I wouldn't put any money on it. Again, good job of catching this spirit of 2011.
2011 was a tough year. Hope everyone realizes that no matter what country or what religion you belong to, we're all people at the end of the day with the same needs and we need to stop the culture of hate. Hopefully 2011 was the year of awakening
Whatever her reasons, i hope this time next year we see that whatever blood shed is leading to a brighter, fairer future. It's certainly clear we've got a long way to go.
She also said 'Great editing, sourcing and footage'.
She ought to know - and i can't help but agree with her there.
A friend of mine today told me how hopeful this years insurrections have made her. She works for Reuters and has no doubt seen many more harrowing images over the years than we have been privy to.
Perhaps it's this more detailed understanding of what has really been going on around the world over the years of her career that makes her see hope in images of people taking their disapproval to the streets. Perhaps she's an optimist. Perhaps she just had a good year.
Yes a lot has happened this year be it riots in this country,Europe,be it revolutions in the Arab countries.I think that there will be a lot more happen next year when the Euro and the EU goes tits up,as the song by Bachman,Turner,Overdrive goes"You aint seen nothing yet"
It's been a great year. And I do think 2012 will be better. More peaceful? I doubt it. Serious change seldom happens overnight. The civil rights struggle took more than 10 years of what you see here.

Great peace of work and it's really an honor to be part of it. Hope 2012 is much peaceful than 2011 was ...
