Don't know who the interpret is? (Esteban Morgado cuarteto played many songs with guitars, but other artists have been playing guitars as well for decades).

You will find on youtube probably the most beautiful and pasionate vals by Milena Plebs and Ezequiel Farfaro and the song of course is "Ilusion De Mi Vida" unfortunately the quality of image is not that good

permitime explicarte que la distincion entre tango y vals argentino es muy fina. si te fijas en este caso los tiempo dan perfectos y vos podrias establecer tres movimientos por compas (igual al vienes que es del que decienden casi todos), sin embargo, el vals argentino tiene y una cualidad (asi como el peruano la suya) que es la de mezclar pasos de tango e inclusive bailarlo por completo como tango (es una modalidad que nos distingue) en definitiva lo llamamos "tango vals" y nos es propio.

OK, to all the comments about this being tango and not vals. This is a tango vals (!), which is determined by the meter. Meter is a concept related to an underlying division of time characteristic of western music. This provides that the pattern is usually 2, 3, or 4 beats long, (duple, triple, quadruple), Tango is normally in duple meter, or 2/4 time, while the piece in question is in triple meter, so it is a Vals!!!

You are partly right. It is a "tango-vals". The tune is a vals (count 1-2-3, 1-2-3) but the steps are tango. Search Youtube for vals and you find others in this style.
