Dang, I didn't realize those bigger juices were so thick. I'm actually looking at the S2. I'm with you on the serrated blade...on my Wave it's mainly there as a "well if I ever need this as a rescue cutter I have it" tool. Dull can openers do work...my Boy Scout knife had one that was okay. I felt the same way as you about corkscrews until recently, when I realized they're actually nice to have if you drink but you don't know exactly what kind of alcohol will be available. Not a priority though.
The "reamer" is an awl. It's not supposed to be sharp. It's a tool which (in a costume shop, anyway) we use to push threads aside in woven material to create a hole without cutting. A sharp edge would make an awl useless.
@thebadpoet Thanks for the input on how you use awls. Most of these multitool "awls" are reamers, which have a cutting edge (as you can see on this one) and a sharp point for drilling. They give up repair capability but gain drilling ability into materials like wood. A great example is the standard Victorinox reamer. An example that's more like a leatherworking awl or what you seem used to is the standard Wenger awl.

Re: belly on the blade. That's one thing I like about the SwissTool. Victorinox used the same kind of blade they put on their SAKs, so it's got that hint of belly that Vic knives have. If Wenger made a multi like the SwissTool (probably not gonna happen at this point), it'd have a heck of a belly.
Damn, I was about to order this thing, until I saw your review, now I don't want it. Soooo I have no clue what to get anymore :(

Resisting the urge to do the "is that a multi-tool in your pocket or are you just glad to see me" joke.
Guess I failed.
