  • .308

  • @superM741 .308 What? "What caliber is ballisticaly completely average? What round gets a "C" grade? What rifle cartridge hits like a .38 Special +P at 1000 yards? Then yes, the answer would be .308. Get your little .30 out of here....

  • Friend what can you tell me about the Weatherby Vanguard rifle S2? I'm thinking of importing one of these, have good quality? compares to a Remington 700 SPS Varmint? hug.

  • I just bought a r700 in 7mm rem mag and I love it so much i sold my 30-06 !! hahahaha

  • can u make a video showing the internal clip?

  • hello shoot it and show us your test! thanks!

  • I guess i'm getting rem 7mm mag over 30-06,, thanks for the vid..

  • @jepoynoks A very wise choice.

  • Im getting one of these babies, but it is the varmint version. SEXY

  • i love you!

    you speak the truth!

  • I had a question? I just got rid of a .300 mag and was wondering what is the differnce between the 7mm mag recoil and the .300 mag? I know that you would know, thanks.

  • @leadchunkersoutdoors Slightly less. No big difference when shooting comparable loads.

  • what kind of big game would you use this rifle for, white tail perhaps???

  • @ImaginaryWhitetail Elk, Mule Deer, Antelope, White Tail as well... with the right load selection, any big game in North America and most of the rest of the world. Not enough for Africa's Big Five, but just about everything else.

  • @MadOgre thanks alot :)

  • i like 30-06 but 7mm is good too there balistics are simular right

  • @9pol1 No.

  • @MadOgre is there a big diffrence or no if so how much of a difference thanks

  • @9pol1 Big difference. Google is your friend.

  • @9pol1 7mm is alot more powerful but smaller bullet

  • This comment is also a test :P

  • MadOgre, what mount did you use?

  • @MrBBS1970 Leupolds.

  • Thanks!!!

  • Also, is 460.00 a decent price for a new LEUPOLD SCOPE VX-II 4-12X50MM, DUPLEX RET SILVER? Thanks again!!!

  • @MrBBS1970 Yes, it is.

  • Hello.. I'm ordering my Rem 700 7MM SS/Black and wanted to ask what scope end caps are those? Also, I'm somewhat of a newbie so wanted to ask you what scope rings/mount use used. Nice video and thanks.

  • @tube4stas Screw Wikipedia... Get out and SHOOT. Hunting Rifles don't need to worry about Capacity.

  • Which do u prefer a savage axis stainless xp or a Thompson center venture both of those with nikon monarch or another gun in that price range for short and long range

  • @outdoorsman9288 Savage.

  • lol great vid,i read so much about how the 30-06 is a better choice.truth is if u eat your wheaties and become a good shot with it you will notice that the 7mm mag does shoot flatter, does hit harder specialy at longer ranges and is more accurate.i own both a savage 111 in 7mm rem mag and a rem 700 30-06.i have killed both moose and deer with both but yet i keep reaching for the 7 mag.it truely is a great all around cartridge.

  • Great gun. I love the 7mm Remington Magnum. It makes a perfect deer gun. Every deer I've shot so far has died instantly. One shot, one kill. I use an adl with a Nikon. Nice setup no doubt.

  • hello I'm looking at getting a savage 111 with a Nikon Monarch i've heard nothing but good reviews but i wanted a professional opinion any comments?

  • @lordweinerdog That would be about the best bang for the buck I could think of. And this is a good time to get into your Savage, as the word is getting out how good they are and it wont be long before Savage raises their prices... just like CZ did.

Nikon is always the wise choice on glass.

  • @MadOgre yes but the 111 is a light gun in a big caliber it may cause a flinch

what gun would u get in a .7mm that does have hardly any recoil?

  • @kalob35 Remington 700 Sendero.

  • @MadOgre way to expensive for me i dont wanna spend over 500

  • I used to want a 7mm Rem. Mag.(still do), but I think if I ever bought another deer rifle it would be 7mm-08 which seems to be immensely popular now. I'd also love one of the RUM chamberings like .300 RUM or 7mm RUM, but in Virginia there aren't exactly many extreme range shots and too many counties that don't even allow hunting with rifles over .22 caliber.

  • @TheFirearmsChannel It matches my truck well.

  • @TheFirearmsChannel I had to retake it a few times before I passed it. Ba-Da - Ching!

  • I hunted for a few years (time being why I don't hunt anymore) with a Browning A-Bolt in 7mm Rem Mag. Sucker was a tack driver at 300yds.

  • Remington in stainless is a winner...7mm....not so much in my area

  • @Sasquatch7foot What do you not like about it?

  • I really like this new series of vids.Did you get a new camera? The quality is excellent! Lots of testing going on!LOL!

  • @Mr45Bullitt Same Camera, different settings. Thanks!

  • you no what crazy me and my father inlaw where talking about the 7mm rem mag today and i agree

  • great vid bro

  • 7mm rem mag is a great cartridge, almost 50 yrs old now i think.. ahead of its time when introduced & still underappreciated today.. you definitely chose the right weapon to launch that projectile too!!! The rem 700 has been and continues to be the production rifle of choice for precision placement of that round (they were pretty much made for each other). Great vid, thank you sir!! Hello, this is a test..lol...

  • im a 30 cal man myself, wide range of bullet weights and loads for it. BUT, i the 7 is an all around cal. i like to call it an at&t round lol. ive just grown up on 30 cals, nice rifle ogre, cant go wrong with a remington.
