Men and women should have goals of mutual advocacy and interdependence. By creating gender-based advocacy/empowerment groups, we only perpetuate polarization. Makow was obviously hurt in his experience with his first wife; just as many of us males (and females) have been in our past (or present) heterosexual relationships.

I'm female and I do agree that feminism has gotten way out of control and families are breaking down because of this, and I would say that I am a traditionalist at heart. But I think it's a bit harsh for a man to say he's just going to move onto another woman if he doesn't get his way, there has to be some compromise.

Also not all women will be 'trouble' if coming from a broken home, although a fatherly figure is very important in a Childs life in each sex.
