I know in the past, these Daylight steam locomotives would usually just use their air horns at the crossings. Nowadays, the 4449 usually just sounds the whistle at crossings

Modernize this, computerize that-FUCK that. It breaks my heart to see steam locomotives retired and put out of service, then replaced by lifeless machines that move with the push of a button. Steam locomotives require passion taken to an extreme level. Engineers back in the day REALLY loved their jobs. It required TRUE passion! It's time for a revolution!! Bring back the good ol' steam breathing machines to revenue service that once pulled this country!!! Damn the computers, full steam ahead!!
